Title: how to change my username

hw can I change my username and hw to hide my email id?

plz tell me.
I tried both but not done,

plz someone expalin.

Regarding my username...i was thinking about this since long but i thought that i cant be done, until i read this post...i want to change my username to my name itself - rOhit beHaL . Can it be done too..as i when people refer to me as rohitb8, i myself for a moment get confused by my username...so plzzzzzzz mera naam karan kar do na.
It could be Rohit Behal or rOhit beHaL or any way...doesnt matter.

Hello Rohit

I have chnagd your display name which means that you can login using your rohitb8 id but your name will be visible as "rOhit beHaL"

You seems to be pretty creative person. :)

wen we click on somebody's profile name. it says "Many apologies, but you can't view just any profile. "

so wenevr any other person clicks on my profile name, then he/ she is also displayed the sams msg as written above??

I have chnaged your display name to "SaiShriRam".

Please note that your login ID remain same but your display name is changed. Also noone can view your profile except Mods and Admin.

Hi Ravi,
can you please change my user name to "Anu".
And I have one thought in my mind to share with...
I hope you know about baba's thousand  names..
In case you dont know about this... Please read on.
I got to know this from my sister.
I had a desire and wanted that to be fulfilled by baba.
I asked my sister, She gave a book.. which had thousand boxes to be filled with baba's name "Om shri sai ram".
And when I Completed writing baba's name thousand times,
My sister has guided me To do one of the things below:
1. Give that book to baba in the temple and  donate some money to baba or to somebody.
Or
2. To buy 5 or 8 similar books and
ask if people are ready to take them and give it to them.
(its not compulsory that people who accept them, They should be completing the same at that time..They can keep the book and write it when they feel they want some thing from baba).

I wanted this to be done online.
Can you help me with this.

Dear omkar,

Regarding karmas, you can see good post and not so good post below it. Once you click on good post, your karma will be increased by one and once you click on not so good post, it will be decreased. This feature is only to encourage all the devotees for nice topics or it is a kind of gesture to appreciate when you read a nice post. About your username, only the admin can do that. Will notify him. Baba bless you.

Ravi, How can I get a mail for each and every post.I want the website automatically to send me a mail on each and every post by anyone in all the threads.Is there a way to do that.If there is no option for the user's can you some how activate that on my account.

I guess this works, but not sure. Just go to the section 'your experiences with sai' and click on notify. You may get a mail whenever a new post is posted. not sure though. just try once.

By the way there is a "Notify" button at the end of the post (next to reply). use it and the Forum will send emails as soon as there are any new posts.

Hi Ravi,
Thanks a lot for the reply.I tried with the notify but that doesn't seem to work as expected.

In the section If I click on notify, It will send a mail only if a new topic is posted.
If in a topic if I click on notify,It will send a mail for a new post in that topic.

But there is nothing like I can get mail for all the posts in all the topics.


I will try the RSS feed.I didnt understand how to configure it.You had sent a Php file.Anyways I will search online how to do the RSS feed and let you know if there is any problem.Thanks lot for helping and apologies for many questions.
