Karvachauth is a fast that ladies observe for long life and well being of their husbands/ would be husbands. On this occassion one does not take any food or water from dawn till moon rise. and after moon rise a puja is performed and ladies break their fast.

Their is a story also related to this fast. Anybody knowing the actual one and  willing to share the same with all of us is welcome!!!!!!!
