Title: Misunderstanding with inlaws

Baba when I was with my inlaws for delivery they were rude to me and also caused misunderstandings btwn me and my husband. Also they had misunderstandings with my parents who have only 1 daughter. Bcos of all this my parents are unhappy, and my relationship with my husband and inlaws have not reached prev level. I am at my parents house to share with them my baby for some time. The thought of returning back to a life with them scares me bcos of extreme unhappiness then. Baba pls help me.

Today when I talked to them another misunderstanding resulted with unhappiness all round. Show me the way Baba. Even my husband is not able to understand me.

I can very well understand your situation.

Anyway just do your duty and try to win their heart

by  doing what they like most.

Whenever you feel depressed all I can say is chant our SAI naam.

He will make you feel at ease and this I am sure will help you.

It is all like passing clouds.

Everything will be fine  after sometime.

Ramesh ji, am doing good with the grace of Baba though there are some tough times sometimes.. Somehow get caught with my active 9 month old. Sridhar is changing his job to one in Mumbai.. Pls bless us on this new venture Baba..

i can understand your situation, beacuse i am in the same but in teh diffderent with sai's grace my husband is with me. but i think as your sai's blessed child he will solve all your problems. just have undettered faith on him. that what he wnats from us. don't worry have faith in im cast all of your burdens on him. he will take of everything. he will change others ind and heart to good.

baba pls give courage and strength to sunitha ji to have patience. sunitha ji don't worry baba will bless you with lots of happiness soon he is wiping out your karma. one who scold us are doing good to us they wiht there actions remove our karma and sins so be thankful to them. develop this attitude you will get peace. always remember sai. because it is who controls everything. he will definetly show right path to you.

We do not know what we have done to inlaws in our previous births. But, Baba knows. YES. He eases our problems to a greater extent. The prayers make it possible.

Whatever be the reason, every married lady should feel more resposibility / make more compromises and sacrifices and above all surrender the ego as and when it is required if the husband is not otherwise very bad and worth living with. We have no other go.

Above all the relations between our parents and inlaws should be normal at any cost which will reduce the problems to 50%.

I wish to add one thing from the practical point of view. Pl read the column 'How I saved my marriage' in Woman's Era. I was benefited a lot from this column which gives you some tips for your day to day transactions with inlaws and husband. And above all the prayers will help you by all means.

i can very well understand ur plight but i guess the whole world is like that . i am facing a similiar situtaion. wherein my inlaws are alwyas misunderstanding me and my parents for no reason from day 1 i have tried to please them by doing evreything out of my way for which i va eneglected my busbad and my little daughter now they are ceating unneccessary tension in my life i hve lost wieght and am depressed. and above all i dont find baba anywhere near solving my problems wht do i do.

Dear Sister
As subhasriniji said very truly, you be pure in your heart and actions. Hold no grudge, forgive them immediately. It will relieve the tension and anxiety in you.If you bear the grudge or ill feeling, you will be the one suffering. BABA taught every one the unique message of loving all. He has immense love for all devotees even if they approach him unfaithfully, untrusting or evil intentions. Put the Burden on Shri SAI SAMARTH. He is a great wirepuller. He will bring about the change. May baba shower his blessings on you.

It is shameful that some parents become so selfish and insecure when their son is married that they try every possible strategy to bring in disharmony in lives of their children.Baba Sai,Please change this world.Change the mind of such evil people.Give them enough wisdom to become selfless and respectworthy.Our society cannot move forward and become a joyful community   until and unless each family understands and values the importance of love,affection,selflessness,respect,justice and truth.Please give courage to those who follow your path.Please shake those who are evil and malified....Even I ask you to use the power of your""Satka" to put such people back on track who ruin the happiness of others by being jealous and wicked.
Dear Friend'Sunita and others who are facing similar situations,Try not to get affected by remarks of evil people in your environment.Be strong and balanced.It i not easy but try to get out of such situation for sometime mentally and create a beautiful world within yourself.People say that being a married woman, you must sacrifice,compromise more,and tolerate.I am sorry but i donot think it makes much sense.I hv myself seen all this so closely and applied it, but then i feel, many women are mentally and physically tortured even  because they become the punchbags and door mats for their husband and his family.We can easily say that all this is due to past karma,but maybe, if we take action-legal punishment againt such evil people,that too is result of karma of those evil people.Life is such a beautiful experience.Why are some people so dumb and deaf and blind????I donot understand what they gain out of doing politics and dramas in their own homes..Go out! Look at the clear blue sky,the cool breeze..sing a lullaby for your little one..hear some soothing chants..why you waste so much time, emotion and energy on such useless creatures?they donot deserve even a second of your precious time!Baba,Please help my friends..give them wisdom and courage.Come as an angel to their lives and bless them .One day,we all will be so old.Our faces should have a natural curl upwards on our lips..not drooping ones.We mut grow old gracefully and peacefully..and welcome our future life.There should be no worry, no fear,no insecurity.Please cuddle everyone baba,please love everyone.all children need love.Love you from the core of my heart!Baba,please make me write something which shakes up people ..and they are bound to get up ,wash their faces,wear nice clothes,looking the mirror ,smile at themselves..sing songs .Please wipe everyones tears.Tell them to become like small children..tell them to jump around,scream with joy and laughter..tell them to dance like mad ..pleae tell them to LIVE LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dear Babita, Sai Ram !

As you have mentioned, it is not only ‘some parents’ most of the parents are like this – of course, mainly MIL and fathers in law mostly become calm when it comes to the matter of dealing with DILs I/O guiding their wives which they will be doing in all unwarranted matters.

One of my observations is, some of the boys realize the existence of parents only after they are married and start giving so much importance to them (which they would never have given in their life till then) that they give all the liberties to the parents to even spoil their married life. They don’t mind sacrificing all their good days to satisfy the parents ego / psychic problems towards DIL. (and may even go for a divorce thinking that their parents are capable of finding an alternative within no time)

A simple and polite request made by a boy to his mother, in private, about her treatment definitely alarms the mother about the fact that the boy is not liking her attitude towards the new addition of the family who has come in with lots of hopes. Such comment will definitely have a  positive impact on the other members such as BILs and SILs too. Similarly a decent remark if the wife errs, in privacy, will make the wife too understand the value the boy has for his people.

When a girl is suffering, indirectly it means that the boy also must be suffering / not enjoying. But, the mind of the boys do not analyse these. They blindly accept they all are right, That’s it. Another kind of boys – though they know what is right and what is wrong, don’t open their mouth with a fear that, they may be branded as “henpecked” “Invertebrates” etc. So inturn they start thinking why the girl can not adjust to this..etc. Already, the  girls have a lot many adjustments after marriage in many respects ( only can a girl understand these) compared to those of a boy. So the patience levels of the girls start diminishing and they may tend to commit one or two mistakes OR behave in a different way which may not be their basic nature at all.

Many a time, the mothers of the girls too take their share. When a girl expresses her problems, to the mother, instead of giving proper guidance ( since mother was also a DIL and faced worser problems during her times) , she takes the side of the daughter and passes comments which may look like “sympathizing” or “soothing”  which is momentary but serves no purpose than polluting the mind further.
 
Many women continue with the husbands with a hope of good days to commence and also to ensure a respectful life for their children and that the future of the children should not be spoilt.

One more thing I wish to add is,

Compromises and Sacrifices are part and parcel of any one's life - irrespective of the fact - whether it is married life ; official life; Personal life etc.

COMPROMISES AND SACRIFICES MUST BE A PART OF ANY ONE'S LIFE WHENEVER AND WHEREVER IT IS WORTH TO MAKE ONE'S LIVING A HAPPIER ONE.

BY SACRIFICING A VERY GOOD MOVIE ON TELEVISION, FOR WHICH ONE MUST HAVE BEEN WAITING TO WATCH, TRY TO SEEK PLEASURE IN RECEIVING  AN OLD FRIEND.

BY SACRIFICING PARTICIPATION  IN YOUR SISTER'S BIRTHDAY PARTY, TAKE CARE OF YOUR AILING MOTHER IN LAW WHO IS BADLY IN NEED OF ATTENTION.

BY COMPROMISING A LOT ON YOUR VARIOUS VANITY EXPENDITURES, SAVE A HUGE AMOUNT THAT BECOMES MARGIN FOR YOUR HOUSING LOAN.

BY COMPROMISING WITH YOUR HUSBAND ON A MATTER WHICH YOU MAY NOT HAVE LIKED (OR YU ARE SURE YOU ARE RIGHT) GIVES YOU UNIMAGINABLE HAPPINESS WHEN YOU LATER COME TO KNOW THAT HE HAS RETURNED HOME TERRIBLY TIRED FIGHTING WITH HIS BOSS or AFTER AN UNPLEASANT HAPPENING

COMPROMISES AND SACRIFICES ENHANCE YOUR IMAGE - WHATEVER BE THE SECTION - I MEAN - MARRIED /OFFICIAL / PERSONAL / SOMETIMES HEALTH TOO (SOMETIMES WE DO NEGLECT OUR HEALTH WHEN AN URGENT FILE HAS TO BE ATTENDED TO ; A MOTHER DEFINITELY RAISES TO THE OCCASSION IN RUSHING HER SON TO THE DOCTOR EVEN IF SHE HAS BEEN BEDRIDDEN FOR LONG WHEN THE SITUATION WARRANTS).
