Title: Will He listen to my prayers? I have faith in Him but am loosing patience
Post by: Purnima Guliani on April 17, 2009, 06:04:32 AM
I know He answers, He has answered my prayers in the past, small ones but right now I am in big time trouble and its almost been a year now that I have been praying to Baba but to no avail.  Things have been going from bad to worse and can't see much hope anywhere.  I am loosing my patience each day now. I try and visit Baba's temple near my house, whenever I can and have been praying Him but don't know what mistake I did that He is just not answering my prayers.  I pray to Baba to answer my prayers soon and till that time give me the strength to bear this period with as less pain as possible............ I know it must be result of my own deeds,,,,,,,,,,, but Baba is like my father and with parents you expect them to forgive you and love you,,,,,,,,,, Baba by doing this I hope I am not being mean and I beg of you Baba, please get me out of this mess before I loose my hope in you.  I am loosing my patience every second and its not a short span, its been going off and on for almost a year and last six months have been a nightmare...... Baba I pray to you with folded hands and tears in my eyes that please forgive me if I have done any wrong deed knowingly or unknowingly and come to my rescue and save me in this time of crisis............ Baba show me a sign soon to boost up my spirits! Awaiting your blessings, regards, your child

Aao aaj hum sab milkar ye Vaada kare khudse
Kii

Jis haal me rakhe Sai , Us haal me khushi se rahenge Hum
Sukh ho ya Dukh , Naam unka japenge har pal
Chahe bhatkaye ye zamana
Chahe maare jag taana
Magar Sai Sai kahte kahte
Jeevan gujarenge Hum

Kuch kahna hoga gar Sai se
Toh Shukriya hi karenge Hum

mila hai ye jeevan toh den hai usi ki
Usi ke liye jeevan nyochhavar karenge Hum

Nahi hume haq rulane ka kissi ko
Nahi hume haq satane ka kissi ko
Gar nh kar paaye kisi ki madad toh
Rasta use Sai Dar ka dikhlayenge Hum

Joh bhatak gaye hai zindagi se apni
Joh naraz hai har khushi se apni
Joh anjaan hai Sai ki shakti se
Unhe jeevan jeena sikhayenge Hum

Nahi phir Sai ka dil kabhi dukhayenge Hum
Kabhi na karenge shikwa unse
Sada musakuraayenge Hum

Hai yakeen mera musakurata hume dekh kar
Sai ki Vyadha ko kam kar paynge hum

Do Sai Aashirwaad prann ko hamare
Saari duniyaa ko Sai se milana Chahate hai Hum

Diya hai Jeevan Ye aapne
Aapko hi samarpit ye jeevan karte hai hum

Karo aisi kripa apne bachcho par
Aa kar paas tumhare
tumhare hi ho le Hum

Na bhule kabhi dil Sai ko apne
Sote Jagte Sai Japte rahe Hum

Sairam Purnima,

Please don't lose patience. I have gone thru similar situations and thought he never helped me but when i look back and ponder over it, i can clearly understand that he helped me. Now i can face similar situation with great ease. Ex: I din't get a decent job for more than a year with all my financial commitments, my sister's marriage was fixed. We were thinking whether to go ahead or nor as we had only Rs 40 on that day and my sister was earning more than me. Then as usual left everything to HIM and went ahead with the marriage. Believe me within 20 days the marriage was over as my brother in law had to leave for US. They are firm believers of saibaba and thru them i have come across divinity. What I am today is beacause BABA. Request you to have patience, HE will help you.

Purnima,

God tests those He loves the most. The fact that He's testing you and the fact that He's brought you here amongst so many people who love and care... this itself is more than enough proof of His love. Trust me... more importantly TRUST HIM. The day you come out of this, you will emerge a much stronger and better human being, a much stronger and better soul. Sometimes He tests us to see the faith we have in Him. Sometimes He does this to teach us lessons in life. Soon you will be a channel of His will... infact you already are.

Just trust that alls going to be fine and that day will come soon. You and whatever is happening in your life is part of divine will... His will...
So trust the fact that this dark cloud has to have a silver lining!

Am very tempted to post this here

CONFIDENCE

Once, all village people decided to pray for rain.

On the day of prayer all people gathered and only one boy

came with an Umbrella,

that's Confidence

***
TRUST

Trust should be like the feeling of a one year old baby

when you throw him in the air,

he laughs...... because he knows you will catch him;

that's Trust

***
HOPE

Every night we go to bed,

we have no assurance to get up alive in the next morning

but still you have plans for the coming day ;

that's Hope

Dear Purnimaji,
om sai ram...i think we all go throu these kinds of problems in life at some time or the other and baabji always tests our patience and hope.I  am also one of them whose been through miseries in a span of ten years ,problems regarding finanaces, health, relations what not? but believe me he is always with you and will not let you loose hope completely there will be instances of no hope but one little ray of light will show you new hope so dont worry just surrender urself unto him and see the miracle. It does take time but afterwards you can see a flashing new light ....as there is saying there is always daylight after the dark night and a fresh new light after the dark tunnel ....so keep praying and do read satcharitra .

Purnima... this ones for you...

Waiting is one of the most difficult things to do, whether we're waiting for an airline flight, a phone call or an answered prayer. We become impatient and wonder why everyone else is holding us up and keeping us from getting what we want. It seems like the more we want something, the harder it is to wait - and we even get impatient with God!

But we have to remember that God's timing is different than our own. He sees things from a different perspective and sees the whole picture, not just what we want, but what is best for us in the grand plan for our lives. All is part of a divine order and will be done in its own right and proper time. Of course, when we are hoping, praying and waiting for something, it's easy to forget this. After all, waiting is "remaining inactive in one place while expecting something." And being inactive means feeling powerless and at the mercy of the world - nobody likes that feeling. But we must keep in mind God's greater plan and his perfect timing:

"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to His purpose."
Romans 8:28

"Trust in Him at all times, O people."
Psalm 62:8

What are YOU Waiting For?

What are you waiting for in your life? A new job, financial security, healing, a baby, a restored marriage? It seems that no matter where we are in our lives, we are waiting for something in the future. Our lives are never stagnant; if we are moving forward, there is always something to expect or wait for around the next bend in the road of our lives.

There are many stories of "waiting" in the Bible. In some stories, the waiting seemed to last forever, while others only waited a few intense moments. The key to waiting is not the length of time but how we handle the wait. The Bible teaches us that we should "wait on the Lord." We must look with confidence and expectation toward the future, trusting that God will fulfill our waiting in good and proper time.

There are three actions that will help you wait on the Lord patiently and with faith, knowing and believing that He will help:

1. Trust - If we doubt God's willingness to hear and answer our prayer, we may begin to feel bitter when we think God has heard our prayer but is silent. Scripture teaches us that God is unchangeable, which means He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow and we can always rely on Him to provide the best possible path for our lives! God said that He will never leave us or forsake us. If He seems silent now, it is because He has another plan, different timing or a way to answer our prayer that has not been revealed to us yet. We must trust in His plan.

2. Resist - We must resist the temptation to take matters into our own hands. Patience is powerful. Having patience is essential in many circumstances and the Holy Spirit is here to fill us with this patience when we feel we cannot wait another minute on God. The safest place we can rest is in God's Will. When we rest here, resisting temptation is easy.

3. Pray - How many times have you given a prayer request to God and felt He was deaf? During these times, you need to keep on praying, but pray the right way. God always answers our prayers, but it may not be the way we want Him or expect Him to. It may be a yes, a no or something better. When we don't immediately get the answer we want, we have a tendency to repeat the same prayer over and over until we either lose our voice or simply give up. After we have given our need to the Lord, we must turn our request into a "Thank you," and an attitude of expectancy, and say, "Not my will, but Yours, Lord." When we thank the Lord in advance for answering our prayers, it is an active display of our faith that demonstrates to God our confident expectation that His awesome power will provide for us.

This Prayer can help you as you wait on God's perfect timing:

Dear Heavenly Father,

I have been waiting for ________________ for so long now, and I come before You today to ask your help. I pray that You will increase my faith and patience so that I will put my whole trust in your perfect timing and plan for my life. I will put my complete trust in You with confidence and eager expectation of Your answer, whatever that answer may be and whenever that answer may come.

Thank you that you are always with me.

Thank you that You hear my prayers and will answer in Your time and in Your way. You, Lord, are without limits.

Thank You for Your unfailing word and that You always keep Your promises to me.

I believe with my heart, mind and soul Your plan for my life is the best one possible and I thank You for Your answer.

Being in Your will is the safest place I can ever reside.

In God's name, Amen.

We affirm God's Perfect Timing . Trusting in God, to see His will and perfect order unfold in our lives.
