My sincere hope is that these posts , help us reinforce in our minds these two virtues viz Faith and Patience. (I myself am a candidate for this learning)
Let me start with Faith first :-
You have gone Skydiving . After you have jumped out of the plane and reached the right altitude , You open your first parachute . It opens perfectly and all is well. When you reach the second stage where you have to open the second chute which sort of acts as a break, you find that it is stuck and does not open . You panic, try unsticking it but to no avail. You go for the final solution "PRAY TO GOD" . then at the penultimate minute , you have resigned yourself to fate and are not panicking anymore and you find that a little thing is wedged in the lever and you remove that thing and the second chute also opens. And wonder of wonders you land safely with maybe a few scratches.
Now had you panicked and not resigned yourself to your fate and had "GOD" not shown you the tiny thing wedged in your chute , you would probably have started kicking and screaming and entagled the second chute and not only veered off course but also maybe something bad could have happend to you.
Moral : Do what you have to do , Leave the rest to god . He has his own ways and timing of taking out of our problems.
Now comes Patience :-
You are strolling in the wilderness, when unintentionally you step on a snake and it bites you. You have two options , there is a road nearby , you go there and wait for a car to comeby (which who knows when someone will come by) . The second option is to "RUN" and try to reach help as soon as possible. Well, the problem with snake bite is that the more you exert yourself physically , the faster the poison spreads into your body and the lesser your chances of surviving. IF you stay calm and wait for the car , and your trust in god is complete god will send his car and the car will take you to the nearest hospital where you are injected with antivenom and you are cured !.
Moral : With patience 9 out of 10 times you usually tend to make the right decisions with gods help. In haste , you tend to jump the gun and mess up the situation which could have been salvaged.
Om Shri Sainathaya Namaha.
