    Thursday 11th June 2015  to Friday 31st July 2015



    Dear SAI Family,

    OM SAI RAM!

    Gurur Brahma, Gurur Vishnu, Gurur Devo Maheshwara
    Guru Sakshat Parabrahmah Tasmai Shree Guru Veh Namah

    Chapter - 07 in brief:

    In the previous chapter you read Namadhark asked Guru the
    significance of visiting holy places.Shri Guru told the story of
    a king who went to a forest for hunting and killed a demon,
    his brother took revenge.His brother took form of a cook
    and was engaged to service king. On anniversary day,
    King invited vashishta rishi for lunch.Cook offered flesh
    in plates and king was cursed by the rishi. Shri Guru told
    even the sin of killing is washed away by
    visiting gokarna.    .

    Now, Let us proceed with the next Chapter.

    Rules to follow for Shri Guru Charitra Parayan:

    1.  The Shri Guru Charitra must be read sincerely with devotion
         and with Complete Physical and Mental Purity & with Fresh Mind.
    2.  Wherever you read, the Place of reading must be neat and
         clean & the Chapter should be completed in one sitting &
    3.  One should not speak while reading.

    Suggestions:

    Always try to understand the following when reading a sacred Granth

    1. The inner-artha- -why is Shri Guru saying thus? Think deeply
    2. The inner-artha of the person involved - why did Shri Guru say thus?
        why did the character say thus?
    3. The context–which period and to whom was it said?
        which place was it said
    4. The circumstance- -what made the following to occur?
    5. Read with Shraddha. Read with Bhakthi.

    My kind request to you all, after reading please acknowledge
    the same in this thread.
