Om Sai Ram~~~

The Power Of FAITH~~~
What does the Guru Granth Sahib Say...

~~oupadhaes karath naanak jan thum ko jo sunahu tho jaae sa(n)thaap.

Servant Nanak spreads the Teachings; if you listen to it, you shall be rid of your pain.

~~Guru Raam Daas, Raag Saarang, Page 1200
mannai surath hovai man budhh
mannai sagal bhavan kee sudhh
mannai muhi chottaa naa khaae
mannai jam kai saathh n jaae
aisaa naam nira(n)jan hoe
jae ko ma(n)n jaanai man koe (13)

The faithful have intuitive awareness and intelligence.
The faithful know about all worlds and realms.
The faithful shall never be struck across the face.
The faithful do not have to go with the Messenger of Death.
Such is the Name of the Immaculate Lord.
Only one who has faith comes to know such a state of mind. (13)

~~ma(n)nai maarag t(h)aak n paae
ma(n)nai path sio paragatt jaae
ma(n)nai mag n chalai pa(n)thh
ma(n)nai dhharam saethee sanaba(n)dhh
aisaa naam nira(n)jan hoe
jae ko ma(n)n jaanai man koe. (14)

The path of the faithful shall never be blocked.
The faithful shall depart with honor and fame.
The faithful do not follow empty religious rituals.
The faithful are firmly bound to the Dharma.
Such is the Name of the Immaculate Lord.
Only one who has faith comes to know such a state of mind. (14)

~~ma(n)nai paavehi mokh dhuaar
ma(n)nai paravaarai saadhhaar
ma(n)nai tharai thaarae gur sikh
ma(n)nai naanak bhavehi n bhikh
aisaa naam nira(n)jan hoe
jae ko ma(n)n jaanai man koe (15)

The faithful find the Door of Liberation.
The faithful uplift and redeem their family and relations.
The faithful are saved, and carried across with the Sikhs of the Guru.
The faithful, O Nanak, do not wander around begging.
Such is the Name of the Immaculate Lord.
Only one who has faith comes to know such a state of mind. (15)

~~mai a(n)dhhulae har naam lakuttee ttohanee
I am blind, and the Lord's Name is my cane.
Guru Nanak, Raag Soohee, Page 752

~~raakh leeeae sagalae prabh aapae
God Himself protects all.
outhar geae sabh sog sa(n)thaapae
All sorrow and suffering is driven away (gone).

~~naam japath man than hareeaaval prabh naanak nadhar nihaarae jeeo

Chanting the Naam, the Name of the Lord, the mind and body are rejuvenated.
O Nanak, God has bestowed His Glance of Grace.
