sorry to all devotees nobody is wishing HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO BABA everyone is viewing my post but nobody is wshing him you all might be thinking i am joking but all my friends i also came to know through my nearby sai mandir we have decorated sai mandir with ballons and flowers we are celebrating his birthday in the evening at 5.30 pm by singing bhajans and by cutting cake. iam feeling embaressed because its not mine birthday its baba birthday nobody showing any craze to wish him.
i had add such post so that u all devotees can wish your BABA. but i cant force anybody . sorry baba iwish you HAPPY BIRTHDAY . nobody knows the exact date . JO BHI DIN BABA KE SATH MANAYA JAYE WOH DIN JIWAN KA SABSE SUNARA DIN HOTA HAI BAS EK MOKA MILA CHAYIE.

Dear Arti,
Don’t know about others, but for me Sai did not take birth, but just appeared. God never takes births (Even incarnation form, It takes birth). Exact Date is unknown, only assumed. If this is question of celebration, It is always great to sing the glory of Sai in whatsoever name. 
All the Best for your celebration. Enjoy and share the happiness with others too!

i personaly dont know when was baba born...and neither i say you are kojing or wrong...
baba must be really happy....as you celebrating for him....doesnt matter the occasion...to b true or false...
the known part is that you are celebrating....

In that village there were a couple named GANGABHARADYA and DEAGIRI Amma. They were giieving over their lack of children. In answer to their prayers, a son was born to them on September 28th, 1835. That child was SAI BABA, who completed His Avaatar on VIJAYADASMI day in 1918. Dear Arti ji,
In fact, Baba was not born like ordinary human beings. The only reliable account of Baba's life is Shri Sai Satcharitra. In that holy book, we are clearly told that Baba 'appeared' under the neem tree, and that none of the stories about His birth at Pathri were supported by concrete evidence. In fact, many myths and legends are created around God's incarnations. The story of Baba's birth on the 28th is one among them. That does not mean that we cannot choose any day and celebrate it in Baba's name. He likes devotion in any form.
I respect the sentiment of Baba's birthday and wish the very best of celebration today.

This topic has been literally 'dead' for quite some time. Still, I felt like responding to it because it creates doubts in Sai devotees' minds.
Does Baba have a birthday? As per all the accounts even at time of Baba, He just 'appeared' (as many devotees here have already written). Sai Satcharitra is a very reliable account and clearly states this.
Now (for quite some time) people have claiming that Baba was born here, or there, xyz is the mother of Baba, xyz is his village, etc etc. This creates a lot of doubts regarding Baba and also to certain extent starts creating confusion in an devotee's mind.
Life and Teachings of Baba are the sole answer that we have for the society today. To unnecessarily bring in false facts and rumours will make people start doubting the whole of His life.
I simple cannot accept any false theory/rumour like this.
My intention here is not to hurt any genuine Sai devotee. Its just that I feel that this 'trend' needs to be stopped, its implications understood.
