सच्ची बात अच्छी नहीं लगती और अच्छी लगने वाली बात कभी सच्ची नहीं होती।

अच्छाई कभी झगड़ा नहीं कराती और झगड़ा कभी अच्छा नहीं होता।।

बुद्धिमान कभी ज्यादा बकवाश नहीं करते और ज्यादा बकवाश करने वाले कभी बुद्धिवान नहीं होते।

आलस्य अभावों और कष्टों का पिता है, आलस्य में जीवन बिताना आत्महत्या के समान है।

जय सांई राम

एक व्यक्ति बीहड़ जंगल में भटक गया। भूख-प्यास के मारे उसका बुरा हाल था। उसके पास हीरे-जवाहरात की एक पोटली थी। कुछ देर भटकने के बाद उसे एक वनवासी मिला। उस व्यक्ति ने वनवासी से कहा, 'भाई हीरे-जवाहरात की यह पोटली ले लो और कुछ खाने के लिए दे दो।' वनवासी ने कहा, 'इस बोझे का क्या उपयोग। इसे फेंक दें यहीं कहीं। मुझे नहीं चाहिए। आप इसी जंगल में अपना खाना ढूंढ लीजिए और पास में एक नदी है। उसका पानी लीजिए। वह व्यक्ति बोला, 'मैं तुम्हें इतनी दौलत दे रहा हूं। इससे तुम्हारी सात पीढि़यां खा सकती हैं।'

वनवासी हंसता हुआ बोला, 'जो धन आपकी भूख-प्यास नहीं मिटा सका वह मेरी और मेरे परिवार की भूख क्या मिटाएगा?'

There was an elderly person planting some acorns. A man passing by asked, "Old man, look at your age. Do you think you will live long enough to see the oak trees." And the man replied, "All the trees that have given me shade and fruits - did I plant all of them? There are people coming behind me too."  Aren't we custodians of the next generation?
 
Just give a thought !!!!

जय सांई राम

एक वृद्धा भगवान बुद्ध के पास आई और बोली, 'मेरी इकलौती पौत्री का निधन हो गया है। समझ में नहीं आ रहा कि मैं उस नन्ही गुड़िया के बिना कैसे रह पाऊंगी।'

बुद्ध ने कहा, 'प्रतिदिन लड़कियां जन्म लेती रहती हैं मैं तुम्हें किसी से कहकर एक नवजात पुत्री दिलवा दूंगा।' यह सुनकर वह बोली, 'भगवन, यदि मैं गोद लूंगी तो लड़के को। लड़की को गोद लेकर क्या करूंगी?'

बुद्ध बोले,'तुम नन्ही सी गुड़िया के लिए दुखी हो रही थी, अब लड़के की चाह क्यों? तुम स्वयं महिला हो, फिर भी लड़की को हीन क्यों समझती हो?'

यह सुनकर वृद्धा लज्जित हो गई।

What a beautiful message in these two dialogues.

Though this small story is known to us (I remember this was in our second standard), we forgot it long bak.

Not only this, several such good things though expressed  in a very sweet and touching way, they are all forgotten.

How nice it wud be to remember them and practice.

Baba! Please make us memorise and pass on to our next generations these good things always.
