A young reporter asked him how it felt to fail so many times.
He said, "I never failed once. I invented the light bulb.
It just happened to be a 2000-step process".

जय सांई राम।।।
बच्चों, जब तक तुम लोगों को सांई बाबा में, भक्ति तथा सत्य में विश्वास रहेगा, तब तक कोई भी तुम्हें नुक़सान नहीं पहुँचा सकता। किन्तु इनमें से एक के भी नष्ट हो जाने पर परिणाम विपत्तिजनक है। साहसी होकर काम करो। धीरज और स्थिरता से काम करना -- यही एक मार्ग है। आगे बढो और याद रखो धीरज, साहस, पवित्रता और अनवरत कर्म। जब तक तुम पवित्र होकर अपने उद्देश्य पर डटे रहोगे, तब तक तुम कभी निष्फल नहीं होओगे -- सांई माँ तुम्हें कभी न छोडेगी और पूर्ण आशीर्वाद के तुम पात्र हो जाओगे।
