Title: "Stothra Rathnas" means "Gems among the praise of Hindu Gods".
Post by: marioban29 on February 07, 2012, 04:20:29 PM
"WELCOME TO "Stothra Rathnas"

Sthuthi in sanskrit means to praise. Stothras are the praise of the Hindu Gods. Rathna means "gems"."Stothra Rathnas" means "Gems among the praise of Hindu Gods".

The idea was two fold:-

1.Bring home the majesty of these sthothras to those not knowing sanskrit
2.Provide a means for our modern day youngsters who are ignorant of sanskrit and unfortunately many times more confidant in reading english than their mother tongue.

With best wishes, P R Ramachander"
