A prayer to the light
Deepjyoti translated into English means the light of the lamp. It also signifies the light in the darkness of the vastness of life. This is an old and popular short Indian prarthana or short prayer to the Deepjoyti or light.

Prayer to the light
The light of the lamp is the manifestation of the Parabrahma,
Deepjyoti is God, who removes the sorrows of this world,
Oh! Deepjyoti let your light remove my sorrows,
I seek your blessings Oh! Deeojyoti
