Title: how to do pooja for baba

hi all,

i am kalyani from bangalore, from few days i have some problems. i wanted to get some pooja done for baba in baba temple. but i dont know wat to say the prist to do. can any one plz tell me how should i proceed.................

Dear Kalyani ji,

I am not sure what type of pooja you mean, because the temples could have many no. of poojas.

Usually in most of the temples, you can just ask for pooja to be done to Sai Baba on your name. It consists of the priest asking your name, doing a small arati and giving you prasad (Sometimes they ask you to get coconuts and flowers for Sai Baba).

However, its better if you directly ask the priest what needs to be done. Preferably go at some odd timings, otherwise you might not get a chance to speak to the priest. Alternatively, there are 2-3 priests in any temple. You can approach any one of them and ask them.

I have myself never got any pooja done in Sai Baba temples, but have seen such poojas in temples of Ayappa, Venkateswara, Ganesha and others deities.
