Dear ASHMITA,
OM SAI RAM
As far as BABA's Vrat are concerned BABA only requires Complete devotion from his children and nothing less. Even if you eat I dont think BABA will mistake you, B'coz he himself does not accept fasting.
With BABA, no VRAT, fasting is required. SIMPLE way of beileiving him with SHARADDA AND SHABURI will take you a long way through.
However since we are used to Rites and Rituals we follow the same, again with BABA utmost devotion is enough, there is no hard and fast rule is enough.
At this juncture I would like to narrate an incident one small child asked her mother, Ma when we are serving Food for guests we taste and reorganise it with more salt/ sweet etc to make it tastier, but when we serve food (PRASAD) for GOD you restrict me for touching it, when we bielive OUR BABA as our holy father, should we not serve him the food (PRASAD) with the best taste after checking it.
Yes BABA answered the child in her dreams that he would gladly accept the tasted dish of the child as PRASAD.
So his leelas are unimaginable.
MAy baba be with you for your VRAT and fulfil all your wishes by gracing your home on this occasion.
SO AS FAR AS BABA VRAT is concerned yo can be toatlly devoted to him and do as you please with complete suurender unto his holy feet. So as you feel you can do it, BABA will accept anything with total devotion is my personal experience
