How fascinating was my Guru's school! So much so that I forgot my fond attachment to my parents; the chain of delusion, attachment was broken and I was liberated, quite effortlessly.

Sai Baba put Guru on a high pedestal of reverence. For Him Guru was the profound base of the path of devotion. Pointing to his physical frame, "This body is my house. I am not here. My Guru (Master) has taken me away". He asked for complete surrender to the 'Guru'.

In Dharma the importance of Annadaan is the foremost. Whenever a needy come to our door for food, we must feed him readily. In this context, Sai Baba was (and is) the greatest example. He used to gather all the spices and raw material Himself and cooked the food in Handi. He satisfied Himself by feeding devotees, poor and needy by His own hands. Really those people were very lucky and fortunate that they could eat the food prepared by Sai Baba.

My Guru never taught Me any Mantra

My Guru never taught Me any Mantra, how could I then blow any Mantra in your ears? Just remember that Guru's tortoise like loving glance gives us happiness. Do not, therefore, try to get Mantra or sermon [Updesh] from any body. Make Me the sole object of your thoughts and actions and you will, no doubt attain 'Parmartha'-the spiritual goal of life. Look at Me whole-heartedly and I, in turn, will look at you similarly."

Unless my Guru's image lives in the eyes all the time,
the eyes will be but two balls of flesh.
Or,
I would rather be blind without his image.
Such was the great importance of the Guru's school to me.
