    Yesterday Was Just That Yesterday~~~

Today is what you decide to carry in from yesterday. The best option is to carry the positive and release the negative.

    To live in the moment.

Not always so easy to do when you feel that you can't control what is happening around you and with that said the fear starts to creep inside of you. Realize fear is created to control...to take you away from your center.

Can you imagine a life where we all listen and follow our hearts and guidance from above?

Take a minute and imagine it. Picture your perfect world. Let your perfect picture encompass your heart, then your home. Let it encompass your town and country. Then let it become part of the world.

Yes each person is unique in their idea of perfection but I can guarantee that if each person had to explain how it made them feel inside that the emotions would all be the same.

That is our connection. The connection of love. The belief of what it will create and make us feel like inside. Then how it will create harmony throughout the world.

We are all on a path to be aware of how special we are and how to live in a loving way. To understand that nothing is negative unless we choose to let it affect us in a negative light.

All things created are a gift. Even when you can't find a reason to think of it as a gift right now.

What you are learning from your uniquely created situation is helping you to discover and become aware on the path to remembering who you are and will become.

You are perfectly where you need to be.

All lessons you receive are a gift from the universe created by you.

All thoughts become your reality. Choose them wisely.

    Live in the moment.

Let love show you the way.

Much LOVE to you my friend and God bless!

    What Life is About?

A Long time ago, there was an Emperor who told his horseman that if he could ride on his horse and cover as much land area as he likes, then the Emperor would give him the area of land he has covered. Sure enough, the horseman quickly jumped onto his horse and rode as fast as possible to cover as much land area as he could. He kept on riding and riding, whipping the horse to go as fast as possible. When he was hungry or tired, he did not stop because he wanted to cover as much area as possible. Came to a point when he had covered a substantial area and he was exhausted and was dying. Then he asked himself, "Why did I pushed myself so hard to cover so much land area? Now I am dying and I only need a very small area to bury myself."

The above story is similar with the journey of our Life. We push very hard everyday to make more money, to gain power and recognition. We neglect our health, time with our family and to appreciate the surrounding beauty and the hobbies we love to do. One day when we look back, we will realize that we don't really need that much, but then we cannot turn back time for what we have missed.

Life is not about making money, acquiring power or recognition. Life is definitely not about work! Work is only necessary to keep us living so as to enjoy the beauty and pleasures of life.

Life is a balance of Work and Play, Family and Personal time. You have to ecide how you want to balance your Life. Define your priorities, realize what you are able to compromise but always let some of your decisions be based on your instincts. Happiness is the meaning and the purpose of Life, the whole aim of human existence. So, take it easy, do what you want to do and appreciate nature. Life is fragile, Life is short. Do not take Life for granted. Live a balance lifestyle and enjoy Life!

    LITTLE FAITH~~~

Sometimes we need the faith of a little child. Like any good
mother, when Karen found out that another baby was on the way, she did
what she could to help her 3-year-old son, Michael, prepare for a new sibling.
They found out that the new baby was going to be a girl, and day after
day, night after night, Michael sang to his sister in Mommy's tummy. He was
building a bond of love with his little sister before he even met her.

The pregnancy progressed normally for Karen, an active member of the
Panther Creek United Methodist Church in Morristown, Tennessee. In time,
the labor pains came. Soon it was every five minutes, every three, every
minute. But serious complications arose during delivery and Karen found
herself in hours of labor. Would a C-section be required? Finally, after
a long struggle, Michael's little sister was born.

But she was in very serious condition. With a siren howling in the
night, the ambulance rushed the infant to the neonatal intensive care
unit at St. Mary's Hospital, Knoxville, Tennessee. The days inched by. The
little girl got worse. The pediatrician had to tell the parents, "There
is very little hope. Be prepared for the worst."

Karen and her husband contacted a local cemetery about a burial
plot. They had fixed up a special room in their house for their new baby
but now they found themselves having to plan for a funeral. Michael,
however, kept begging his parents to let him see his sister. "I want to
sing to her," he kept saying. Week two in intensive care looked as if a
funeral would come before the week was over. Michael kept nagging about
singing to his sister, but kids are never allowed in Intensive Care.
Karen made up her mind, though. She would take Michael whether they liked it
    or not!

If he didn't see his sister right then, he may never see her alive.
She dressed him in an oversized scrub suit and marched him into ICU. He
looked like a walking laundry basket. But the head nurse recognized him
as a child and bellowed, "Get that kid out of here now! No children are
allowed." The mother rose up strong in Karen, and the usually
mild-mannered lady glared steel-eyed right into the head nurse's face, her
lips a firm line. "He is not leaving until he sings to his sister!"
Karen towed Michael to his sister's bedside. He gazed at the tiny infant
    losing the battle to live.

After a moment, he began to sing. In the pure-hearted voice of a
3-year-old, Michael sang: "You are my sunshine, my only sunshine, you make
me happy when skies are gray ---" Instantly the baby girl seemed to
    respond.
The pulse rate began to calm down and become steady.

     "Keep on singing,
Michael," encouraged Karen with tears in her eyes. "You never know dear,
how much I love you, Please don't take my sunshine away-"

As Michael sang to his sister, the baby's ragged, strained breathing
became as smooth as a kitten's purr. "Keep on singing, sweetheart!!!"
"The other night, dear, as I lay sleeping, I dreamed I held you in my
arms..." Michael's little sister began to relax as rest, healing rest,
seemed to sweep over her. "Keep on singing, Michael." Tears had now
conquered the face of the bossy head nurse. Karen glowed. "You are my
sunshine, my only Sunshine. Please don't, take my sunshine away..."

The next, day...the very next day...the little girl was well enough
to go home! Woman's Day Magazine called it "The Miracle of a Brother's
Song." The medical staff just called it a miracle. Karen called it a
    miracle of God's love!

NEVER GIVE UP ON THE PEOPLE YOU LOVE. LOVE IS SO INCREDIBLY
    POWERFUL.

Let's continue to pray for one another.

    PRAYER~~~

May today there be peace within you.
May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.

May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.
May you use those gifts that you have received,
and pass on the love that has been given to you.

May you be content knowing that you are a child of God.
Let His presence settle into your bones,
and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, and to bask in the sun.
It is there for each and every one of you.

YOUR HAPPINESS DEFINES ON YOUR ATTITUDE~~~

    Your Happiness!!!!!!

Happiness seems to be the single thread that ties
many people together because everyone seeks
happiness at some point in their life. Happiness is
not elusive, yet it seems that many people have
trouble knowing what happiness truly is, or how to
    find it for themselves.

Happiness is defined as a state of well-being
characterized by emotions ranging from contentment
to intense joy. Let's break down this definition to
get a clearer picture of exactly what happiness
    is...

First, take note that happiness is defined by your
emotions. Let that thought soak in for a minute.

    Now read it again:

Happiness is defined by your emotions.

That means you can choose to be happy, or not.
Happiness is clearly and solely dependent upon your
    attitude and thoughts.

Your emotions, ranging from contentment to joy, is
what defines that feeling of happiness you can
experience. Contentment is simply being happy with
    what you have in life.

    Your attitude defines your happiness...
    or unhappiness.

The secret of happiness doesn't lie in having all
the things you think you need. Many people say that
if they just had a couple more thousand dollars, or
a bigger house, or a better job, then their life
would be better and they'd be happier.

The truth is, no matter how much physical possessions
you own, those things can never define your happiness.
You must reach deep within yourself and become content
with your life as it is. That is when you'll learn the
    true secret of happiness.

Help others to aget what they want and achieve what you want!!!!

“Sometimes, struggles are exactly what we need in our life. If we were to go through our life without any obstacles, we would be crippled. We would not be as strong as what we could have been. Give every opportunity a chance, leave no room for regrets.”

    The Butterfly~~~

Aman found a cocoon of a butterfly. One day a small opening appeared, he sat and watched the butterfly for several hours as it struggled to force its body through that little hole.
Then it seemed to stop making any progress. It appeared as if it had gotten as far as it could and it could go no farther.  Then the man decided to help
the butterfly, so he took a pair of scissors and snipped off the remaining bit
of the cocoon. The butterfly then emerged easily. But it had a swollen body and small, shriveled wings. The man continued to watch the butterfly because he expected that, at any moment, the wings would enlarge and expand to be able to support the body, which would contract in time.
Neither happened! In fact, the butterfly spent  the rest of its  life crawlingaround with a swollen body and shriveled wings. It never was able to fly. What the man in his kindness and haste did not understand
was that the restricting cocoon and the struggle required for the butterfly to get through the tiny opening were God's way of forcing fluid from the body of the butterfly into its wings so that it would be ready for flight
once it achieved its  freedom from the cocoon.
Sometimes struggles are exactly what we need in our life. If God allowed us to go through our life without any obstacles, it would cripple us.
We would not be as strong as what we could have been. And we could never fly.

    House of 1000 Mirrors~~~

Long ago in a small, far away village, there was place known as the House of 1000 Mirrors.

A small, happy little dog learned of this place and decided to visit. When he arrived, he bounced happily up the stairs to the doorway of the house.

He looked through the doorway with his ears lifted high and his tail wagging as fast as it could. To his great surprise, he found himself staring at 1000 other happy little dogs with their tails wagging just as fast as his. He smiled a great smile, and was answered with 1000 great smiles just as warm and friendly. As he left the House, he thought to himself, "This is a wonderful place. I will come back and visit it often."

In this same village, another little dog, who was not quite as happy as the first one, decided to visit the house. He slowly climbed the stairs and hung his head low as he looked into the door.

When he saw the 1000 unfriendly looking dogs staring back at him, he growled at them and was horrified to see 1000 little dogs growling back at him. As he left, he thought to himself, "That is a horrible place, and I will never go back there again."

All the faces in the world are mirrors. What kind of reflections do you see in the faces of the people you meet?

    Change.....a way of life!!!!!

Time never stops & keeps changing....& so does everything & everyone around us!

It is rightly said, if you keep on changing with the changing times, you are a happy & a successful person.

Right since our childhood, we are being taught to accept the changes in our lives.

But, as you grow-up, you realize, there are a few things in your life, you simply wish, could always remain unchanged!............For the ones you choose to love in life,

.....the way they care about you,
.....the way they make you feel special,
.....the way they warm up your heart by their words, that they say to you,
    .....the way they love you,
.....the way they look into your eyes,
.....the way they make you believe that they understand your unsaid feelings....

But people do change with time, their feelings change, their heart changes & nothing remains the same!

And yet, one thing that never ever changes, however hard you try, is.....the way you still feel about them,

the way you still love them, the way you still expect things from them!.....

EXPECTATIONS....the same old expectations!.....that gives you pain, lonliness, tears......

& YET YOU NEVER ARE ABLE TO MAKE YOUR HEART UNDERSTAND.....

......THAT EVERYTHING COULD ACTUALLY CHANGE WITH TIME!

    Life Is A Do-It-Yourself Project~~~

An elderly carpenter was ready to retire. He told his employer, a building contractor, of his plans to leave the house building business and live a more leisurely life with his wife enjoying his extended family. He would miss the paycheck, but he needed to retire. They could get by.

His employer was sorry to see his good worker go and asked if he could build just one more house as a personal favor. The carpenter said yes, but it was easy to see that his heart was no longer in his work. He had lost his enthusiasm and had resorted to shoddy workmanship and used inferior materials. It was an unfortunate way to end his career.

When the carpenter finished his work and his boss came to inspect the new house, the contractor handed the front-door key to the carpenter. "This is your house," he said, "my gift to you."

What a shock! What a shame! If he had only known he was building his own house, he would have done it all so differently. Now he had to live in the home he had built none too well.

So it is with us. We build our lives in a distracted way, reacting rather than acting, willing to put up less than the best. At important points we do not give the job our best effort. Then with a shock we look at the situation we have created and find that we are now living in the house we have built for ourselves. If we had realized, we would have done it differently.

Think of yourself as the carpenter. Think about your house. Each day you hammer a nail, place a board, or erect a wall. Build wisely. It is the only life you will ever build. Even if you live it for only one day more, that day deserves to be lived graciously and with dignity.

The plaque on the wall says, "Life is a do-it-yourself project."

Who could say it more clearly?

Your life today is the result of your attitudes and choices in the past.

Your life tomorrow will be the result.

    What's Really Important In Life?

A professor teaches his students a lesson about what's really important in life.

When things in your life seem almost too much to handle, when 24 hours in a day are not enough, remember this story about a mayonnaise jar and 2 cups of coffee...

A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, wordlessly, he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls.

He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was.

So the professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls. He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.

The professor! next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else. He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with a unanimous 'yes.'

The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar, effectively filling the empty space between the sand. The students laughed. 'Now,' said the professor, as the laughter subsided, ' I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life.

The golf balls are the important things-your God, family, your children, your health, your friends, and your favorite passions-things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full.

The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your house, and your car. The sand is everything else-the small stuff.

'If you put the sand into the jar first,' he continued, 'there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls. The same goes for life. If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff, you will never have room for the things that are important.'

So, pay attention to the things that are most important. Take care of your health--cook with your kids!-- spend time with those you love.

There's always time to clean the house--it's a never ending job anyway :

Take care of the golf balls first, the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand.

    Wondering what the coffee represents?

No matter how full your life may seem, there's always room for a couple cups of coffee with a friend--or a soda if you're like me and don't drink coffee!! - :

  • Om Sai Ram~~~

Recently I overheard a mother and daughter in their last moments together at the airport. They had announced the departure.

Standing near the security gate, they hugged and the mother said, "and I wish you enough".

The daughter replied, "Mom, our life together has been more than enough.  Your love is all I ever needed.  I wish you enough, too, Mom".

They kissed and the daughter left. The mother walked over to the window where I was seated. Standing there I could see she wanted and needed to cry. I tried not to intrude on her privacy but she welcomed me in by asking,  "Did you ever say good-bye to someone knowing it would be forever?".

Yes, I have," I replied. "Forgive me for asking, but why is this a forever good-bye?".

"I am old and she lives so far away. I have challenges ahead and the reality is - the next trip back will be for my funeral," she said.

"When you were saying good-bye, I heard you say, 'I wish you enough'. May I ask what that means?".

She began to smile. "That's a wish that has been handed down from other generations. My parents used to say it to everyone". She paused a moment and looked up as if trying to remember it in detail and she smiled even more "When we said , 'I wish you enough', we were wanting the other person to have a life filled with just enough good things to sustain them".  Then turning toward me, she shared the following as if she were reciting it from memory.

I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude
bright no matter how gray the day may appear.

I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun even more.

I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive and everlasting.

I wish you enough pain so that even the smallest of joys in life may appear bigger.

I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting.

I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess.

I wish you enough hellos to get you through the final good-bye.

She then began to cry and walked away.

They say it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them but then an entire life to forget them.

all my friends and loved ones, I WISH YOU ENOUGH!!!!!!!

  • Om Sai Ram~~~

Today I want to introduce two people to you..

He was born into a large family. He was fourth among 6 children. He had a tough childhood, being often abused and beaten severly by his father. In the initial stages of schooling, he was a brilliant student, but due to repeated rejections from the teachers he dropped out of school. He wanted to be an artist, but again he met with repeated rejections at all these places. He gave up the dream of becoming an artist and became an architect, but still his life was always filled with rejections.

Later when he grew up, he told that he never had any fond memories of childhood and was taught to hate everything around him due to his experiences..

She was born after the First WW in Europe in a jewish family. Her father was a military official, but she grew up in a very supportive environment. She had a talent of writing and she was always encouraged by her mother who brought her up in belief in God. She wanted to be an actress when she grow up, but due to WWII her family went into hiding and faced with so much persecutions for being a jew..

The boy grew up to be Adolf Hilter, the most hated person world has ever known.  The girl is Anne Frank, who was later killed in the WWII. A diary which she wrote survived the war and was later published under the title "Diary of a Young Girl".

In the diary she mentions, "Despite everything, I still believe that people are really good at heart." Many consider Anne as a symbol of hope and inspiration.

See how a person's surroundings influence their life.. Whatever a person is because what he was made by his surroundings, by the people around him.Maybe if Hilter had a good childhood, encouragement from his loved ones, who knows, he never would have grown up hating everything.

We meet so many people in our life, yet...
How many of them have touched our hearts ?
How many do we judge and attack everyday using our words, our actions ?
How many do we encourage and accept everyday ?

One smile, one word of encouragement, one helping hand, one moment of tolerance, .. so many little things like this can actually change a person's outlook towards life. We all have the power inside us to make or break a person.. "All of us are children of God"..? I guess, thats an old lie that we always say to cover up our faces..  As long as we can never love or understand the people around us, what's the use of saying that we love God ?If we could see others as Jesus would see them, how can we ever hate or have a grudge against someone.. ?I believe that even now God cries whenever his children hate each other and hurt eachother, forgetting his sacrifice for us..  Think about this.. May Jesus speak to you through this word of God..

"You hear, O Lord, the desire of the afflicted; You encourage them, and you listen to their cry.."                                                                                             Psalms 10:17

"Learn to do right! Seek justice, encourage the oppressed.."                                                                                                        Isiah 1:17

Jesus said,"I tell you : Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.."                                                                                                      Mathew 5:44

"We urge you, brothers, warn those who are idle, encourage the timid, help the weak, be patient with everyone.."                                                                    1 Thes 5:14

"If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen.."
                                                                                                                  1 John 4:20

When Life Isn't Easy, May You Remember This~~~

May you know, in your heart,
that others are always thinking of you.

    May you always have rainbows
    that follow the rain.

    May you celebrate the wonderful
    things about you.

    And when tomorrow comes,
may you do it all over again.

May you remember how full of
    smiles the days can be.

    May you believe that what
you search for, you will see.

May you find time to smell the flowers,
and find time to share the beauty of you.

May you envision today as a gift,
    and tomorrow as another.

May you add a meaningful page to
the diary of each new day, and may
you make "living happily ever after.
something that will really come true.

And may you always keep planting
    the seeds of your dreams.

Because if you keep believing in them,
they'll keep trying their best ... to blossom for you.

    Life isn't always easy, troubles
    can always come our way
But don't give up my dear friend

Just remember, that for every bad
    day you have, there are
going to be a lot of good ones to
follow!! Think about those good days
and they will help you get
    through the rough ones.

    Always remember, I am here
to talk to when you need a shoulder
a smile, or just someone to let
you know you will be ok.

Today I wish you rainbows and roses!!
And above all I wish you love!!

  • God didn't promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun without rain, but He did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way.

Disappointments are like road humps, they slow you down a bit but you enjoy the smooth road afterwards. Don't stay on the humps too long. Move on!

When you feel down because you didn't get what you want, just sit tight and be happy, because God is thinking of something better to give you.

When something happens to you, good or bad, consider what it means. There's a purpose to life's events, to teach you how to laugh more or not to cry too hard.

You can't make someone love you, all you can do is be someone who can be loved, the rest is up to the person to realize your worth.

The measure of love is when you love without measure. In life there are very rare chances that you'll meet the person you love and loves you in return. So once you have it don't ever let go, the chance might never come your way again.

It's better to lose your pride to the one you love, than to lose the one you love because of pride.

We spend too much time looking for the right person to love or finding fault with those we already love, when instead we should be perfecting the love we give.

When you truly care for someone, you don't look for faults, you don't look for answers, you don't look for mistakes. Instead, you fight the mistakes, you accept the faults, and you overlook the excuses.

Never abandon an old friend. You will never find one who can take his place. Friendship is like wine, it gets better as it grows older.

Remember the five simple rules to be happy:

    1. Free your heart from hatred.
    2. Free your mind from worries.
    3. Live simply
    4. Give more.
    5. Expect less.

No one can go back and make a brand new start. Anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending
Not every heart is capable of finding the secret of God's love.

There are not pearls in every sea; there is not gold in every mine.
