Mother

"Someone asked the Prophet, "who has the greater right over children, mother or the father?" The Holy Prophet answered, "The mother's right is greater than the father's". He was asked the question three times and the answer was still the same. The fourth time, the Prophet elaborated and said,

"The father's right is next"

"Why do you give the mother three rights to the father's one right?" The Prophet replied, "Your mother carried you for nine months in her womb, then gave you birth. After that she gave up her sleep for you, suckled you,carried you in her arms, and cleaned you. For years she cooked for you,fed and served you food. She did your laundry. When you were forty, fifty, sixty she still followed your progress with interest. Your father sowed you in your mother's womb, provided your food and made sure you had clothes to wear Can this be compared with your mother's role? The questioner went on, "Well, I wonder if I could ever repay my mother for all the help and service, however much I might do for her?" The Prophet replied," you could not repay as much as one nights due!" "But suppose I carry my mother on my back for years, clean up after her, cook for her, and feed her. Suppose I attend those same services as long as she may live?"  
 

"There will still be this difference between you: your mother looked out for you to live, while you are waiting for her to die.""

Warmer than the Summer sun,

softer than the breeze;

sweeter than a rose in bloom,

a Mothers all of these.

She will always stand by you throughout your childhood years,

she'll be around to comfort you if you should shed a tear;

She will always pick you up, no matter why you fall;

because the love of Mothers is the strongest love of all

Yes Mothers are Gods angels, but remember they're on loan;

and one day in the future God will call them home.

So if you have a Mother,

please show her that you care,

and let her know you love her,

and the memories you share.
