Sweet name
The sweet name of Sai Soothes one's sorrows
and heals his internal wounds.
This divinely word (shabd) assumes Lord's form
to communicate with the sadhaka.
With this magnetic word, one's inner eyes
are opened and the light shines forth.
This shabd is a priceless treasure and
once the seed of Sai nama japa is planted by Guru's grace,
it never dies but should generate sooner or later and put the
sadhaka to enjoy the ananda of nama smaran.
This supreme shabd is the real and unfailing friend of the sadhaka.
Nama japa enables the soul to return to its true home and merge with
its source of origin.
The more time one gives to the repetition of this holy name with
love and devotion, the nearer he comes to the goal of realisation
and merging with the "Progenitor of God".

Let us pray at the feet of Sai Baba who is the incarnation of all gods and protector of all, to show mercy on us, and increase our devotion towards him.
