What does sai really want us to do

We all go to the temple and pray God, tell him all we need. We are happy if Sai gives us what we need. We are not ready to accept what he really wants to give us. Its not just worshipping sai that would yield you what you want. Sai says treat every living thing the same. Are we doing that?. To be very frank we are not. We speak ill of others. Baba says never speak ill of others. if we practice this slowly in our live we would grow to be a better human being. Never ignore anybody, see the goodness in others and appreciate them for that. Easy to say but hard to follow. But I am sure if we start following all these Sai would be really happy and give us more than whatever we want even without we asking for it.

I ask myself this question very often ...

We all want Sai to bless us with his miracles without trying to follow on his path ...

I dont want to sound like a hypocrite ... because i know that i myself have failed miserably to follow Sai's teachings ... and yet i have prayed to him often to show me his miracles ... but then I feel very guilty every time I do that .... though that cannot be an excuse ...

Atleast we can start making some small changes among ourselves .... like, atleast we do not talk ill of others behind other people's backs, we do not quarrel with people, we try to remain humble and suppress our ego, we remain a bit disciplined in our desires, we try to help the poor and needy etc.. And then maybe Sai himself will start blessing us without us asking him for anything explicitly ...

The only question is, having to confirm to so many norms and conventions of this society, and having to cater to the expectations of so many people around us, how feasible is it many times for us to try and be truthful to Sai's teachings ... I am sure a lot of us stumble while trying to walk on this path many times, and unintentionally most of the times ... But then if we really want the Sadguru's grace on us then we will also have to take a strong resolve to remain detached from atleast some of the society's expectations and try to follow Sai's path with courage and conviction ...

The best thing about our dear Sai is that he immediately forgives and forgets .....

I totallly agree with what what you say. We have to meet the expectations of others. But thats where we need to change. Thats what sai says dont worry even if the world around you changes upside down. You do your duty properly and lead a life where you are humble, never speak ill of others and execute your duties properly. When you do this over a period of time you would reach a state where you dont need any recognition from people around you as you already have the inner peace in you.
