  • OM SRI SAI RAM

    Sai Ram Dear Sri !

A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU , AMMA AND APPA.

    PUTHANDU VAZTHKKAL

Probably I need to spend several hours to get more enlightened thoughts from you. I hope I will be soon privileged by Baba's grace in this reg. I wait for that  oppurtunity.

Look to me with undivided attention; so will I look to you.  This is the only truth My Guru taught Me.  The four sadhanas and the six shastras are not necessary.  With entire confidence trust your Guru.  That is enough.

    -Shirdi Sai Baba

Bhakti Yoga is a SHORT CUT to God unlike the Jnana Yoga and Karma Yoga.

It is the sweetest fruit and the sweetness has to be experinced by one self and can never be taught like the other practices of Yoga.

It is, thus, an inexplicable feeling. Probably like minded people can share and to some extent (never to the fullest extent certainly) understand each other's feelings of such Joy.

    Baba bless us all
    Baba be with us all

  • Sairam Kavitha akka,
All compliments must go to only Sai. He bestowes life & later imbibes them. We are mere puppets in between!
Bhakti Yoga is definitely much easier than other Yogas. Swami Vivekananda says "The only pitfall in this yoga is Fanatiscm". When one develops obsession towards his Ishta Deva it's natural human tendency to ignore or look down other faith. We must ensure we don’t fall in this trap.

Past and Future exist in the Mind. Present is the Only Reality. Mind loves habitual waiting to deny the present. Meditation helps one merge with Nature. One no longer feels Separate from the Whole. It is easy to live with the whole than against it.
Regular Meditation suppresses unwanted thoughts and strengthens the Mind. A less noisy mind is so near to God.

  • JAI SAI RAM!!!

Dear all, Once your tears becomes tears of love, and your waiting for tomorrow is just a longing of the heart -- but not desire. Just become more and more humble, more and more nobody, more and more spacious -- become nobody.

I have departed from myself long ago. I have allowed BABA SAI to take possession of me. I have allowed HIM to do whatsoever HE wants to do with me. I don't know even what the next word is going to be, because it is not coming from me -- it is coming only through me.

I have lost track of myself so long ago that even if I meet myself, I don't think I will be able to recognize HIM. And just being a vehicle of BABA SAI, a vehicle of existence, has been such a fulfillment, such a contentment, such a benediction, that I don't think there can be anything more, deeper, higher.

    I am absolutely blessed.

I was also not the deserving one.

One thing from the very beginning was clear to me: that there is no way for me to find BABA, because I don't know HIS address, I don't know HIS home. In this vast universe, where am I going to find HIM? All that I can do is create a longing, a thirst, in every cell of my body and being, and wait.

If BABA wants to find me, HE will find me.

Only HE can find me; I cannot find him.

And now, I can say it with absolute authority -- that whenever GOD has happened to anybody, it was not the person's search for GOD; it was simply the person's waiting and longing. And when the thirst became so much that it was impossible for BABA to go on hiding... this is the only quality that makes a really religious person deserving. He is a silent waiting, a silent prayer, and a peaceful spaciousness. GOD comes.

Just don't rationalize when HE comes, that it may be the thunder of the clouds, or it may be the wind striking against the doors. Keep the doors open. Keep your eyes open, keep your heart open. He comes. HE comes surely, because HE has been coming to thousands of people in the whole history of humanity.

And I don't remember a single mystic saying, "I found GOD because I deserved." The very idea of deserving is of the ego. All the mystics are agreed on the point that GOD found them, because they cried too much, they longed too much. Their longing was heard; their tears reached God. Prayers may not reach, but tears certainly reach.

  • Jai Sai Ram ! Hare Krsna !

The devotees of the Lord constantly discuss the glories of the Personality of Godhead among themselves. Thus they constantly remember the Lord and remind one another of His qualities and pastimes. In this way, by their devotion to the principles of bhakti-yoga, the devotees please the Personality of Godhead, who takes away from them everything inauspicious. Being purified of all impediments, the devotees awaken to pure love of Godhead, and thus, even within this world, their spiritualized bodies exhibit symptoms of transcendental ecstasy, such as standing of the bodily hairs on end.

Having achieved love of Godhead, the devotees sometimes cry out loud, absorbed in thought of the infallible Lord. Sometimes they laugh, feel great pleasure, speak out loud to the Lord, dance or sing. Such devotees, having transcended material, conditioned life, sometimes imitate the unborn Supreme by acting out His pastimes. And sometimes, achieving His personal audience, they remain peaceful and silent.

Thus learning the science of devotional service and practically engaging in the devotional service of the Lord, the devotee comes to the stage of love of Godhead. And by complete devotion to the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Nârâyana, the devotee easily crosses over the illusory energy, mâyâ, which is extremely difficult to cross.

  • OM SRI SAI RAM

According to the qualified non-dualist Ramanuja, the ultimate reality is the Personal God, which is non-dual but admits of the distinction of inanimate nature and living beings, both of which form part of Him.

According to the dualist Madhava, the Personal God, the universe, and living beings are all real.

To return to the non-dualistic position; the Personal God is the highest manifestation of the Absolute in the relative universe; as from the relative standpoint the creation is without beginning or end, so is He without beginning or end.

When the love of God is fully developed, the lover forgets both the world and the body, so dear to all.

This love cannot be exploited for any worldly purpose- neither for health, nor for wealth, nor for longevity, not for happiness in heaven.

It cannot be genuine if the lover shows the slightest attachment to the world. In it there is no room for jealousy or hatred, because the devotee sees everything as the manifestation of God.

Bhakti is both the ideal of spiritual life and the means to its attainment.
