Needed - Name of the Pothi of Swami Samartha Akkalkot Maharaj

    Only recently did I feel like reading a book to know about Akkalkot Maharaj, though He has been mentioned often in the Sai SatCharita. Shirdi Baba used to ask some of His devotees to read the Maharaja's pothi. I guess it must be like the Sai SatCharita, but would like to know the actual name of the book so that I can purchase it.

    One doubt related to Maharaj and Shirdi Baba, I had. In a book by Mr. V.R. Prabhu, it is mentioned that there were many known heirs, besides unknown/secretive (Gupt) heirs of Akkalkot Maharaj. One of the known heirs is mentioned as Shirdi Baba.

    That is very suprising to know.

    Did Shirdi Baba meet Akkalkot Maharaj? Did Shirdi Baba stay at Akkalkot before settling down at Shirdi?

    Was Maharaj the Guru mentioned by Baba? I am confused because I read that the Guru's name was Venkusa (shortened name). Can somebody help me out? Links to websites, books would be of great help.

    This is a little funny. Sai baba & Swami Samarth are not 2 different persons. They are one & the same. Hence no physical meeting is required for them. Just as out of metal you can create many coins, but all coins are essentially metal, so also with this metal i.e. Guru.

    Funny??  ???

    The question was not from a metaphysical/ philosophical POV but from a historian's POV.

    Swami Samartha's and Shirdi Baba's life history are extremely interesting to read about (more so when they are *so* shrouded in mystery).

     &  it  is  quoted  in  Akkalkot  banyan  tree  where  he  spent  22   years.
