Mansiji, the anwer to your question is something which is a fact of life, the law of the universe you can call it.
'Each and every person we come across in life, at some point of time is going to hurt us in some way - even those closest to us'. What point of time in life and how much is something no one knows. This is a fact of life the sooner we understand and realize the lesser the impact of the incident in terms of pain.
We are all humans and humans make mistakes, fall prey to temptations, greed, selfishness and a lot of negative attitudes... even the best of us. None is perfect. Plus a lot of times a person doesn't even know why he or she is behaving in a certain way. There may be bigger fears or problems in the life of that person or he / she has plainly just fallen prey to negative attitudes like selfishness, greed, indifference etc. which in todays world are very common. If we sit back and think, we may have also been indifferent or caused immense pain to someone and may or may not even be aware of it. Happens to the best of us. Something we don't have control over.
But what we can control is how much we let it affect us. How we deal with it. The faster we forgive and forget, the faster we heal and the happier we remain.
As for your job... wishing you all the luck & prosperity...
