Think rationally. In HR scope is very limited unless you are MBA from very reputed institute and/or had exposure in Multinational Company’s/Hard Core Manufacturing company’s environment. It will give great value addition to your career to work in accounts if it also covers Payroll and Payroll taxes if in future you return to HR Field, if Work even for one year whole heartedly in accounts. Take it as a change, New things to learn, You will also feel refreshed.
But accept if you are ready whole heartedly and ready to accept it as a challenge and ready to enjoy new role, But if you are not good in numbers or feel this opportunity only a burden, decision will be yours ………………… only to say opportunity never knocks the door again and again. Do complete SWOT Analysis, Support of management in your new role, Risk if could not succeed, what will be next…………?
Listen both what your heart says or what your brain suggests and then decide what is Best!
