Lost in the mind

    • Sai ram to all of you,

    Why am I waiting? What for am I waiting? Ever since Baba came in my life there has been many changes. But lately I find myself in recognizable situations. The past is repeating itself. My mind tells me to talk to Baba, think about Him. Do prayers and let life be as it comes. Accept All That Is and see everything is His perspective. Have faith that Baba will take care. He is the Doer.

    I can go on for another page or 2. Although this information is in my mind, I cannot seem to make a connection to Him. Although He is above us, in us and around us but yet I feel so very alone. But my mind counters with  the thought that all I encounter is to become closer to Him. To the Atma. All this knowledge. It makes me so confused and I dont know where to start. I think I know, but I know nothing and I feel my faith slipping. So scared to fail. 

    I'm probably looking in the wrong direction for the answers.

    Dear chrisbaba, Aabhu is right, Sri Sai Satcharitra will give you a lot of inner peace... Baba will speak to you through it. Please read a chapter daily and ask Baba to guide you through it..
    Having read the book over and over, I always find a new answer to my question / querry in it :)
    It will come naturally, just surrender to him, talk to him, ask him to give you indications and guide you, and it wont be too long before you find inner peace :)

    May Baba bestow his loving blessings on you and your family!

    You too are here because Baba is responding to you reaching out to him..
    Yes, surrendering is initially difficult, Baba helps us gently with that too once we extend our hand and heart out to him..

    You dont notice it, you experience it :)
    Your inner voice / Baba will guide you and help you distinguish between real and unreal.. Once we're on the path it comes naturally to all of us.. It is the initial part of crossing the threshold and holding His hand.. I am a different person today from more than 10 years ago since when I first started reading Sri Sai Chatritra. I was in my teens when I first read it and had limited understanding as to what the deeper message is, but he still spoke to me and answered me even then. When I read it today, I get more deeper meanings and answers and it sinks in easily..
    It is all linked to surrender, once you are able to do so, then Baba's light inside you will shine and make us see the truth :) This is my understanding from my experiences, I hope it helps!
