Hello everyone I've just joined this forum, I'm in a dilemna at the moment...my girlfriend and I have known each other for 4 years and this due to the fact that her elder sister got married to my youngest uncle. The main problem in our relationship is that my mum is christian and my dad is hindu and because of that her family is not really approving of our relationship together.She is slowly drifting away from me because of that, I even went to talk to her dad and her elder sister and they were very rude to me,I didn't let my parents know about it, otherwise it would have created more problems.The thing is by losing her, I'm losing my best friend and the person that I truly love. All I wanted is to get married with her and live a happy normal life. Her family call themselves devotees of Saibaba but on the other hand the way I see it is that they are not really true devotees because Swami promotes love among different religions and not hatred.I'm hindu too but before being being a hindu I'm a human being first. I've been trying to convince my girlfriend to face the situation rather than running away from it but she would not listen to me, she thinks that being in love with me is a sin to her eyes and to her parents eyes. She's constantly avoinding me although i believe and I know she loves me and also now I have a major complex now because of this issue. I keep praying to Sai Baba hoping that I'll get her back,and that the situation will get better with her parenst and that they understand that we truly love each other I don't want her to run away with me, I just want things to be done the right way. I have no one to talk to thats why I'm here.

Concerning being hindu or human being first: What abot being a Sai Devotee first? ;-)

Dipikaji has left for Shirdi, so let me let me quote from what I keep as a little print out here on my desk next to BABA's picture:

Just have faith in Him, and with a little patience, everything will work out the very best.

   These are few lines from Sai Sat Charitra :      
"All the things, that we see in the universe are nothing but a play of Maya - the creative power of the lord. These things do not really exist. What really exists is the Absolute.Just as we mistake a rope or a garland for a serpent, on the account of darkness , we always see the phenomena , i.e things as they outwardly appear, and not the noumenon, which underlies all the visible things. It is only the Saguru who opens the eyes of our understanding and enables us to see things in their true light and not as they appear. Let us therefore, worship the Sadguru and pray to Him to give us the true vision,which is nothing but God- Vision"

All these relations are temporary and these relations are due to bonds from our previous birth. My understanding here is that leave it to Sai and whatever He decides in your situation whether good/bad is for your own good. Have Shradda and Saburi and see how things turn out.
