Please need advice

Sai Ram to all,

I have a question and answer book which I brought from Shirdi. I have been told by the book to daily do some service at Shiv mandir. The problem is I live in New York and there is no Shiv mandir near my house. Can anybody advice me what to do. I have a shiv idol and small shiv ling at my house.

Dear Babaschild,

Concentrate on the crux of the instruction.
That is Shiv Puja.

How and where you do it is not a problem with any God.

He doesn't care about material things you do or offer.

He is hungry for the love and devotion in your heart.

You could stand in the most crowded trains, but if you are one with HIM in that moment, then nothing else matters.

Its the addiction to God's name that's important. Not the wheres and hows, and whys.

Pray with your soul, rest leave it to Baba and Shivji.

I have a shiv ling and Nandi and I perform shiv Pooja at home. Every morning I light Diya, I perform abhishekam with milk and water- put some vibhuthi on the shiv ling and read the 108 names of shiva. I keep some sweet or sugar, and water.
