All actions played by Baba behind the scene for his devotee may not be known to the person at that time.Knowing behind the scene for his devotees may not be known to the person at that time.Knowing the past karma of the devotee ,the Sadguru quietly works on him on him .One has to have faith and patience to reap the benefits of His blessings in the due course,and also at the time ordained by Him.That is why Baba qualified the word "Shraddha" (faith) with "Saburi" (patience).One without the other cannot stand.If you read "Shri Sai Satcharitra" you will get your answers as Baba did answer these queries of devotees in His own way.

Saburi Saburi Saburi

Baba always said have saburi because He knew we humans lack it and we
are always in a hurry to get things done or to go somewhere. There are incidents in the Shri Satcharita too, when devotees wouldn't listen to Baba when He told them not to go but stay a while or for few days, but the devotees went in a hurry and faced the consequences of not listening to Baba’s advice. Keeping saburi in mind, I would like to share what I read in Beliefnet.

Practice patience; it is the essence of praise.
Have patience, for that is true worship.
No other worship is worth as much.
Have patience; patience is the key to all relief.

You will recognize that the God you worship is the one who is present everywhere in everyone and in everything, and also in yourself. That belief will remove all vestige of fear from your heart.God is always full and complete; to reach such infinite fullness you must have full faith.......

Nimmi ji, you’re so right. You know when you’re a true devotee when you pray to baba and there are no doubts or fear as to whether he will accept your prayers.

I’ve also begun to understand why Baba asks his devotees to be patient. I have been waiting for Baba to answer my prayers for 1 1/2 years now, but when I look back to those years, as painful as they might have been… I realized how much closer I have gotten to Baba and what it means to be a true devotee… I’ve always felt that Baba was making me wait because he was testing me, but I don’t think he was testing, rather he is simply teaching me.

Baba I know you are listening to my prayers and I know you will answer them… I have no doubt about that… now I simply ask that you give me the strength to wait and watch your miracles.  In these tough times please hold my hand when I can no longer get up and please lend me your shoulder when I need to cry.

Lastly, no one can come to shirdi without your invitation… so if possible can I please come to shirdi and have your darshan… I would be eternally grateful.
