Wish fulfilling

I read sai satcharitra and in chapter 11 it says you get everything you want. I read it almost everyday. But everyday I'm stress, nervous, unhappy. I don't even get peace. I also do Aartis, chalisas, mala of other Devi Devta. But I'm unhappy everyday. What's the purpose of all this prayers when I don't even get peace. I even say if I'm Doing something wrong tell me and show me right path. Is god listening to my prayers or I'm just unlucky. And live rest of life suffering
