Who is this Venkusa, the pious one?
an embodiment of all virtues, treated all alike,
He too was awaiting the arrival of SAI,
He knew, that the boy Sai would come!
He loved Sai as his own soul,
Sai too loved him in the same way,
the river longs for joining the sea,
Venkusa realized his Life's goal!
The boys grew jealous of Sai,
the Master loved him more they thought,
Revenge, they thought is the only way,
to finish Sai once for all!
The master taught Sai in many ways,
for twelve long years till Sai was full,
the master knew that his end is near,
He want to save the life of Sai!
Other boys in the Ashram waited for a chance,
To finish Sai by throwing a brick,
Mishap it was, the aim failed,
instead, it hit the Master hard!
Profuse bleeding, agonized Sai,
His master laying his head on Sai,
bade him to go away from there,
Baba, had to obey his master's wish!
Wandering far, Sai reached,
A forest with huge trees,
Resting below, he stretched his limbs,
Came Chand Patil in search of a horse!
