Why Salvation?

  • God! People say to become detached is
    the ultimate goal of salvation.
    Detached from everything and everyone
    What is there to feel?
    No pleasure,No pain
    Nothing to treasure and
    Nothing to gain
    Undeterred and Unshattered
Looking everything from, out of us
as if nothing in the world belong to us

The happiness, The sorrow, The good,The bad,
The beauty,The ugly, The richness, The poverty,
The love, The hatred, The victory, The defeat
experience nothing, Ours and the Others'
What is there in this salvation to wish for?
No taste, No colour, No language, No custom
    What remains to live for?
    Why people get desperately perspirated
    and respirate for salvation?

  • Prashathi ji,
I am not the right person to tell but out of very little knowledge i would like to tell you something about why people should urge for salvation :

When you are detached from this world , world i mean here is "Maya" you do not have the desire for things that are temporary to this janma and the things that you have mentioned above like pleasure, pain, treasure , beauty, sorrow, good , bad , richness, poverty ,victory , etc are all temporary. They give happiness or sadness for a while but when you know Sai who lives right inside you you do not have any need for this. The happiness is for ever. When you have this Happiness body is nothing. The peace you get from that is eternal. The light that is inside you shows way to everyone like how our own Sai is showing all of us the way to head towards Him, like Budha who also showed path to everyone. Probably the bliss that they have , the happiness they found is so beautiful that they want us to follow it.

Please Prashanthi ji, the anger that you  have right is temporary . Calm down and think in cool way , i am sure you will realise that all the anger you have was a total waste of time and energy. Use the energy that you are currently wasting in the form of anger in doing something good. Sai will show you the right path.

If i have said something wrong please forgive me.

    Sushma.

  • Sushmaji, I never feel bad for your suggestions. Everyone here are trying to bring sense to others who are going through a rough phase in their lives.

Coming to the salvation thing, I occasionally feel the 'Sunyata', I don't know what we call it in English, I depicted the feeling in one of my earlier poems, 'God Vs Human Nature'. Regarding doing good things, yes I am trying.

  • Prashanthi Ji,
I have read what kind of help you want to do for the society. That is really a good thought and very few will get it. I really appreciate the kind of work and wish you have but at the same time let me tell you according to what i feel in spiritual terms .
" One has to first understand Sai , His way of dealing things are different and to understand Him we have be one with Him and that is what is salvation. "

Doing good things is not sufficient in life we have to stabilise all the 5 senses. Never get angry b'coz when your angry you will not be able to listen to what Sai wants to tell you.You tend to do many mistakes by saying something that is unnessary and later regret as to what you have said.
I can understand when your saying in one of your posts that everyone will try to find fault in poor people and not in rich when rich son himself might have done a mistake. But this is true in people who did not realise what Sai is , this is not applicable to Sai our saviour.

You yourself have said that you believe in Him then where is that belief gone when your saying Sai lied to you. If you believe in Him you would have never said that . The 2 things that Sai asked you " Shradda and Saburi" , you are not giving Him that.

Even Sai had to face many things in life but His shradda and saburi towards His Guru has never decreased/increased , try to know that. There was a time when a deciple( i do not remember whether i read this Guru charitra or its Sai Himself who had this test) was hung upside down in a dark well for 3 days and the 3 day His guru came and asked "How did you feel" what will be your answer ...........? but the answer given by the deciple was "I felt very good and especially when my guru asked me to do it. For an ignorant man this would seem silly and ask what good is it but here the Guru was testing His deciple how much faith , love and patience He has towards his guru.
This could be the same with you too. Probably Sai is testing you to see how much Faith you have towards Him , how you handle things in situations like this.

Sai is always with you to help you.

    Sushma.
