Fasting for Sai Baba

I read about keeping SAI NAV GURUVAR VRAT, as it is written up there that one can have one meal, just want to know that meal means like a full mean or only like meetha or no salt or you can have meal with salt like a normal day? Please anyone suggest me as I really wanna start keeping these fasts from next thursday only, I have no knowledge about these fasts..If you think I need to know anyone else as well please suggest me, I would really appreciate. Thanks

It is really a good initiative from your side to start the fast. You can have one full meal when you observe the fast. it depends on you whether you want to stick to just meetha or a meal with salt. there is no such hard and fast rule to that. But remember that it needs to be same for all the fasts. i mean, if you take salt then continue taking salt on all other fasting days and if u take meetha then continue with that only. but be sure that u dont stay without eating anything. Visit  a Sai temple on the thursday and after your fasts are over distribute prasad amongst poor and Sai Nav Vrat Katha amongst devotees.

u see baba ne kabhi bhi apney devotees ko fast rakhne ke liye nahi tha ....he always used to say ...ki ager tum bhookhey pait permaatma ki prapti nhai hoti hai .....baba ki bhakti ager sachey man se ki jaaye to   fast rakhney ki koi jarrurat nahi hai ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,man main shrdha ...or baba per wishwas hai to aapki her wish baba ki daya se puri ho jaayegi ........din raat sache dil or schi shrdha se aap sirf sai sai hi kahengey to bhi baba aapki prayers accept ker lengey ....infact main bhi baba ke fast rakhna chati thi but ramesh ji ne itney achey se mujhey bataya ....hai i feel he is perfactly right ,,,,,,becoz baba ne ye kabhi nahi kaha ki tum aisa kerogey to hi main presan honuga ....bas man saaf ho ...or man main baba ki bhakti hoon sai usee se khush ho jaatey hai ,.....
waise bhi app nr suna hoga sai baba kaaha kerety the ...SHRDHA SE KIYA HUA EK NAMSKAAR HI MUJHEY KAAFI HAI ......BAS US NAMSKAAR MAIN AAPKI SHRDHA AAPKA WISHWAS ....BABA KE LIYE PYAAR HONA CHIYE ......
