    Gurave Sarvalokanam
    Bhishaje Bhavaroginam
    Nithye Sarvadhiyanaam
    Dhakshina Moorthaye Namahah!

    Guru is Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu and Lord Maheswara
    Guru is nothing but the Supreme Brahman devoid of attributes.
    That is the reason why we bow to the Guru.
