Does God Heal Today?

I've heard people say "It's God's will" or "I'll just leave it up to God" when faced with a serious illness or tragedy. Don't fall into that trap. God wants us to pray to him for help. In Luke 18:1 Jesus told his disciples that they "should always pray and not give up." and then Jesus asked "...will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night?" Pray to God from your heart for healing. Don't stop. Don't give up. God wants us to ask him for help. He loves us.

Over 20 percent of the Gospel is about the healing ministry of Jesus Christ. Jesus taught his disciples how to pray and heal. He sent them to carry on his work. Wouldn't Jesus want his followers to pray for healing today?

Many spiritual writers have defined the call of healing so narrowly that some people feel they don't qualify. But today a new awakening in faith has made us realize we are not only called into healing for ourselves, but also in various degrees into healing each other.

The Bible actually gives us some directions on how to pray for healing. For example, in James 5:14-15 we are told: "Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15) And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven." and in James 5:16 we are asked to "confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed." and then told that "The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective." In Mark 11:23-25 Jesus further instructs to forgive when we pray "I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, `Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. 24) Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. 25) And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins."

Only someone facing or sharing a serious sickness, pain or tragedy knows how hard it is. They know how hard it is to cope with the fear and uncertainty. They know how absurd it sounds when someone first tells them to "keep a positive attitude". They know how terrifying it is when the doubt comes. They know how hard it is to throw a mountain into the sea. But remember what Jesus told us in Matthew 17:19-20 when he said "I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, `Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." Faith as small as a mustard seed sounds a little like hope to me, and that's a good start.

Yes WW ji this is what is the basic sign of evolved persons. Did Baba have any complex needs, does any of the Saints like PP Bapu Asaramji, Swami Vivekananda, Swami Ramakrishna Paramhansa have any special needs. Just very basic needs.
Actually the more the person has complex needs the less he is spiritually evolved. The worst murderers and other Asuric personalities (SO EASILY VISIBLE IN MEDIA, BOLLYWOOD, and POLITICIANS) have the need to drink, drug addiction, sex crazedness etc.
The fact is that under the ASURIC MEDIA influence the people have become detached from the roots and anything from the decandant West is TAKEN AS "PROGRESSIVE" hence people like me do not meet a number of Ganeshji, WWji or SAIBji in everyday life. Rather we deal with these monsters/animals looking as humans and catch their symptoms.

As I was listening to EVOLVED SAINT Baba Shivananda yesterday, maybe he replied for all of the people like SAICHARANDHOOLJI, SAIBJI, WW ji and Others also. People have compalint that Baba does not listen to them and they are stuck and suffering.
He said that the GURU's and God's blessings are always flowing to every person who "SURRENDERS" to them, again we again and again say BABA we surrender to you without knowing its meaning. We sorround our MICROCOSM with the negetive thoughts like Saicharandhoolji etc (there are others who even pray to die) that I have done wrong so Baba is making me suffer In effect saying that subtly "I want to suffer", this moves the MACRCOSM or SHIVA CONCIOUSNESS and more suffering is what it creates or may create in future.
He said that when we are full of thoughts and then pray for mercy and blessings WE ARE ALREADY LIKE A BRIMMING VESSEL and all blessings showered by Baba just overflows. First we have to empty ourselves before asking and they will be fulfilled by Baba.
That's what WWji has done and the incredible force of Baba love is flowing through her.
People may not have done any spiritual practice in this birth but things are carried by previous birth, we

The main deciding factor as to whether a person has the ability to heal is based on the amount of spiritual practice he/she has done and the corresponding spiritual level. "This spiritual practice can either be of this lifetime or a previous lifetime".

Be with us Baba. If this is supposed to be spiritual growth Anupamji, am glad God chose it for me. But I never wanted to... I mean... I am just a normal girl... who wishes to be with the one whos the world to her... wishes to have a family... a happy family. A stupid, dumb ultra modern girl who has made many mistakes in life, trusted and been with all the wrong people... over ambitious, obsessed with her own dreams selfishly. I am still the same old girl. I always used to tell the one I love... I understand praying is important, but I've not come here to be a saint. I will pray. But I equally wish to enjoy life. Who says that spiritually evolved persons do not have happy families and only are Sadhus. On this site just see RAVIJI, our silent BHOLENATH, who just hides himself like Lord Shiva. Did not PP Ramakrishna Paramhansa, PP ASARAMJI BAPU, SUDHANSHU MAHARAJ, or have happy families, In fact IT IS ONLY the SPIRITUALLY developed people who can have HAPPY FAMILIES, otherwise the attacks by negetive entities and energies create distress and division very easily.

Again a misunderstanding, Do u mean Saints do not ENJOY LIFE and all its Goodies. See there is a difference, there are number of paths and the renounced people u are mentioning are YOGIS, FOLLOWERS OF JUST ONE OF THE BRANCHES the Yogic Marg. Ask Raviji, Subhasriniji and others if they have renounced. U can enjoy everything and still be spiritual. Shivaji Maharaj was a King and still became enligtened finally. Only thing is NO ENJOYMENT IN "WESTERN SENSE" which does not have any Maryada, and then these WHITES ASK "GOD WHY ME"

Anupamji... I always told the one I love... I will pray, but let me pray when I feel like it. I can't promise I'll pray so many hours. He always wanted me to pray and be a spiritual person. I did have faith in God. But never prayed to this extent. I prayed when I felt like... when I felt deeply connected to God. Not for long. For 5-10 mins a day. Now I'm different. A totally different person. And now he's not around.

Anupamji, I know theres no place for "I" and whatever He does, He does for the best. But I just hope... He turns my situation into the best... God willing He will bless me with a miracle. Thats all I ask for. Thats all I seek.
