Title: Prayer for my manuscript.

Dearest Baba,
Charan vandana.

By your grace, I was able to write this manuscript. Even though it took me many years, tears and sweat to complete it, I'm now unable to find a suitable publisher for the book. It is painful to see my work and effort go waste. While writing the book, I had promised you that it was my guru dakshina to you and that I would offer it at your feet in Shirdi. I'm not sure what should I make out of this failure to find a publishing home for the book: Should I understand that you don't want my dakshina or that you want me to renounce the fruit of my labor/action? I'm lost Baba and feel sad as I face continuous rejections from the publishers. I did not do anything wrong purposefully, yet I face this failure. I know that anything is possible if you give your blessings and approval. I remember how you helped Hemadpant to write the book that every Sai devotee is familiar with. Without your help and blessings, he would not have achieved the Herculean task. Same is my plight, Baba. I want your blessings and help with the book that you wrote through me. You know why publishing this book is important for me. Have mercy, Sai Nath, and help me.

Dear Drashta,

Great to know about your Book ! First congrats for completion ! Hope, you would have obtained copyright for the same. There are thousands of publishers, you can contact those who already publish the same nature of books.

But, if you want to publish in the e-format, publish few good extracts from the book containing powerful words so that search engines could easily find and connect with the person interested in such reading material. Self-Publishing has benefits that you hold all controls but risk is that in case of failure there is no royalty.

Know, Now a days marketing plays a very important role in success or failure of a book. My advise would be, present yourself as a professional writer, use your blog (if not, create the one - you can create free of cost at blogspot or wordpress), Use social media like Google+,Twitter, Pinterest, FB, Linkedin ..... Connect with professional writers, participate in group/forums for writer.

Baba used to say, my people never stop trying, if they fail 1000 times, still they try 1001 times.

Baba's Blessings are already with you. May be he would be willing to give you a big platform for your book. His ways are always unique.

Thank you so much for your words of encouragement and hope. Your response is timely; thanks again for your valuable suggestions. I'll remember to try 1001 times, as you so rightly say. Rest is Baba's wish :) He will do what He wants to do with the manuscript. His one glance can remove the obstacles in the way. That is why I am praying for His approval.
