Dear Sai bandhus,
I have composed a dhyana shloka on Sai baba in sanskrit (through Sai's grace). I thought of sharing with you all. This shloka helps meditating on sai baba.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
shirE vastra mukutam
gAtrE kafni vastram |
karE satkA dandam
jAnuh upari pAdam ||
vadanE dAdhikA shObhitam
nayanE karunA pUritam |
agrE dhUnih jwalitam
pArshvE ishtikA rakshitam ||
nimba mUla vAsam
dwArakAmAyi natham |
shirdi pura rajNam
bhajE sAi rAmam ||
The meaning is as follows:
Sai's head is adorned with a crown made of cloth.
His body is covered with Kafni cloth |
His hand has satka (short stick).
Sai is seated keeping his right leg above the left knee ||
His beard adds beauty to his face.
His eyes are filled with compassion ||
The sacred dhUni fire is burning in front of him.
Sai baba protects/keeps the sacred brick (given to him by his guru) by his side ||
Sai's residence (old) is below the sacred neem tree.
He is the lord of DwArakA mAyi mosque.|
He is the king of shirdi.
Thus I pray to (or meditate on) blissful Sai ||

Please let me know if you have any suggestions to improve this mantra. Also feel free to let me know if there are any grammatical/poetical errors (as I am not an expert in Sanskrit). I would be grateful for all your inputs.
In Sai Service.
