"Datta Stavam" still wishes not fulfilled

I heard that "Datta stotra which contains only 9 slokas and one has to chant 9times everyday without fail. Whoever chant 9 times everyday for 40days, their desires will be definitely fulfilled with the blessings of Lord Dattatreya. It is 100% true " I did it as per the instructions and still my wish is not fulfilled.  Please let me know if wishes will be fulfilled or not, how long does it take for wishes to be fullfilled, is it on the 40th day only or after sometimes, will my prayer go unanswered or I have to wait for some more time (like months or weeks) to get the wishes fulfilled.  Any other information related to this will help.  Has anyone got any other experiece.  Please reply. Shraddha and Saburi.Total Faith and Patience.Wish will be fulfilled but have Total Faith and Patience on Datta Stotra  .There is nothing called non fulfillment.Where there is attention there will be Expansion and Growth.When u asked from Sai, it is bound to be fulfilled.Don't think much about the wish.The more u think about it and more u think about how it will be fulfilled,more doubts will arise in your mind.Become doubtless and forget about the wish,continue your Parayan of Datta Stotra with new energy and total faith.The more u think about ur wish,the more it will go away from u.By my experience wish gets fulfilled much before 40 days.It all depend on ur devotion,faith and patience.The more these qualities the more quickly wish get fulfilled.

I am confused.  Does it mean that the wishes are not fulfilled bcoz i do not have devotion, faith, patience.  Everyone says the same thing have faith devotion wishes will be fulfilled.  None of my wishes have been fulfilled so far, now I feel might be I do not know what is devotion, faith and mostly what I think is faith and devotion is not the same bcoz with full faith and devotion I am saying the datta stotra. 

One more thing I wanted to know is why do such thoughts (like wanting something fulfilled or wishes fullfilled) occurs.  Why everybody wont get the same thoughts.  Just bcoz thoughts arise for something does it hint at something, like ask and you will be granted.  If yes why are my wishes not fulfilled.  Can anyone tell me atleast will wishes be fulfilled and not left unanswered. Totally confused.
