My name is Vivek and am from Lokhandwala Complex, Andheri(W)
You all must be aware of Kaka saheb Dixit, the Devotee par excellence.
His grandson stays in Vile Parle (E) at Hanuman road Opp Gazali Restaurant
/ CCD. Every thursday around 6 PM there is Baba Aaarti and a chapter on
Shri Sai Charitra is recited/ discussed with those present. The place is
now called "Kaka saheb dixit trust of Saibaba".

I can only share with you that after going there , you would find
something new about Baba.

You might also have come across an expereince of Sh MW Pradhan, who had
invited his friend Shri Jaykar (portrait maker) to make 3 portraits of
Baba- He wanted 2 of these portarist for himself and the 3rd to be kept at
Dwarkamai. Subsequently, he than asked Jaykar for 1 more. Thus, total 4
portraits were prepared of Baba, with Baba's consent. Baba then gave one
of the portarit to Kaka saheb Dixit after His blessings. You can find this
portrait there. Subsequently, it is a long story as to how the 2nd
portrait ( one of the 2 with Pradhan) reached Dixit.

One of my freind Trish jain regularly visits to Shri Kaka saheb dixitji's house for Thrusday satsang.
She have expereinced immense power of blessing everytime she visited there.She told me they treat as their family and look after devotees convinences.
May u have pleasent and divine feeling when u visit them.

Thanks 4 sharing this info wd all …. The fact  is  slightly distorted …..  Since Moreshwar Pradhan desired to have a life like painting of baba  ..he asked shyam rao jaikar to accompany him to shirdi to paint d same …but jaikar saheb was reluctant to get d do d same as he thought what would he gain by painting a poor fakir…. But he gave in to pradhan saheb’s desire & went along … on reaching shirdi wen they approached baba for his permission for the same ..baba refused saying what would jaikar gain by painting a poor fakir like him ….as he knew jaikar’s mind …then they again approached baba this time through shama … as baba could never say no to shama he granted permission to paint 3 paintings & posed himself for d same ….hence these 3 portraits have a significance in sai history as these r the only 3 for which baba posed himself… & seeing these paintings is like actually seeing baba in pratyaksh…… wen d paintings were ready pradhan approached baba dats wen baba blessed one of them & said give this to kaka saheb …since then dat is 1913 this painting is in kaka sahebs house in his puja ghar….. The other 2 were given to pradhan…later on pradhan asked jaikar to paint one more for him …d 4th one is d one which one sees in dwarakmai 2de …but this one was painted by jaikar in his studio by imagination …. But 4 some reason pradhan did not collect d same frm jaikar & later through jaikar it was passed to shirdi sai sansthan…. Well after pradhan’s demise the descendants did not tk good care of the paintings … …till 1970 they were not even framed & were damaged …in early 1970 baba appeared in pradhan’s son’s & grandson’s dream the same night & asked them to hand over the painting to Anil dixitji as in grandson of kaka saheb…. So as instructed by baba the next morning they did d same … & now one of the 2 paintings is in dixitji’s house … friends u can view this original painting of baba on the homepage Kaka Saheb Dixit Trust’s  website saiananta.com …. Do look forward for more on this website as very soon its going to be upgraded….once upgraded will let u all know  ….

Another interesting fact is dat the painting in dwarkmai was inspired frm the painting for which baba had posed (on homepage of saianata.com) but there is difference in that too ..in the one at dixitji’s place baba is smiling + there is panch aarti + more fruits + baskets of sweetmeat …& the one in dwarakamai… baba is in pensive mood + one coconut + one arti .

After aarti we do have discourse on sai satcharitra & must say that the chps are explained so beautifully that after hearing  the discourse u get a btr understanding of the pothi…. We hve already completed one  cycle of the complete pothi & now have again begun the discourse rite frm chp 1 …. All those devotees who are living in Mumbai & wish to attend d satsangh are welcome to join in on every Thursday @ 6pm.
