need a clarification

Hi all,

i am deepa. i believe in baba from long time. i am having some doubts. we say that not even grass can move with out gods permission. we believe in god and do lots of puja and have faith in him. when good things happen to us we automatically say its due to gods grace. when bad things happen in life we say its our karma, destiny and such why not its because of god. none of us say this. This thing is going on in my mind for some time. we go through some situations in life which are out of our control and have to face it without able to do anything. please tell me what you all think.

Your question is excellent and i like such questions....many people would have such questions but they do not ask such questions....I will give answer to your questions but this may not rhyme with everyone's image of God, however, trust that if you read more/think more/meditate more, you would find my answers logical and closer to truth....

If God who is owner and supreme ruler of the universe can be pleased by our prayers/offerings/fasts/sacrifices and stuff which he created and governed and which he wills; how can that be possible? He getting pleased by his own stuff being given back to him.

If God is the reason for our happiness, he should be the reason for our misery also. If God is so powerful/so knowledgeable/so intelligent, why did he create such a seemingly chaotic world. Why would he make us puppets for his sadistic pleasure. If wishes our growth/our good future/all things good for us, why does he not do it by his powers without making us go through sufferings. On one hand God expects us to give up world/attachments/pleasures/ and on other hand he wants to be pleased by our acts/prayers/sacrifices/offerings of wealth etc, how can that be. God who made law of karma, should have also found way to bypass this, right?

People who could not understand true principles/reality of the world or are not ready for higher truths were made believe in notions of God as creator/destroyer/preserver. It was done so that God-fearing people would follow morality and would not stray from ethical path. But trust me, one cannot be moral and ethical with fear.

I am only trying to say that God is not what people have believed so far. In my next post i will tell you what God is/what Saibaba is/what is law of karma/How you and i can be "God" too....enjoy reading the above post, i will post my next one later....till then take care...

Hello Deepa, i guess you have read my first post, so here comes my next one.

This world is in constant flux and exists with souls and matter in various states. Every soul is in a state which is different from other. We can take any characteristic, any attribute and we will find all types of variations...this world is always like a potpourri of everything. Take any number and there is always a bigger number than that, there is a limit to what can be described/can be told/can be understood with our intellect. For a number which we think to be large enough and indescribable, we call that infinity. This world has infinite souls; to put simpler in terms, this world will cease to exist only in infinity or was born infinite time before. To rephrase it, this world was always existing and will exist forever. Remember that infinity just means that we cannot measure it, cannot fathom and cannot comprehend it. To say that this world was created infinite time before is as good as saying that this world has always been in existence and will always stay.

This world or universe is governed by its laws, every matter has its property...transformations happen by the property of matter...there is no individual entity willing this to happen, there is no individual entity doing this...you can sow a seed, but the seed becomes a plant by laws, none of us are creating plant in absolute sense...

Dharma in one of its elaboration means property/attribute/nature...every thing and everybody follows its own dharma and by that it means that every body acts according to its nature/its dharma..the laws of this universe are present forever, they can be used for meeting ends...but they cannot be circumvented by any means or by any effort...
