Would you go and meet Shirdi Sai Baba, if i tell you where He is now. Yes, you would. Isn't it? But then would your limited intellect allow you to recognize Him? I am not sure whether you would recognize Him or not, but i would tell you where He is now.
Shirdi Sai Baba is alive and among us. He is there in a place which is in our own country, India. He has declared himself to be Shirdi Sai Baba born again when He was just a teenager. Nobody in his village knew if there is anyone named Shirdi Sai Baba. Nobody in his village knew if there is a place called Shirdi. Nobody in his village had ever travelled outside beyond certain distance. Reaching that village was an ordeal itself, crossing river and hills, the village was in itself an obscure place.
But how can devotees remain away from whom they adore and love and how can Baba keep them away from His devotees. So, over period of many years, devotees who were alive and had seen Shirdi Sai Baba came and experienced and established that their very own Shirdi Sai Baba has returned among them. They were fortunate to receive continued guidance through out their life from two incarnations of same divine force.
But there were many devotees who could not see beyond the physical form and could not identify their own Shirdi Sai Baba born again. They believe that Baba has returned, but they do not want to search, even though they would like to see Him and consult Him directly, they are not sure of many things.
Then there are people who have been seekers and associated with Baba from many lives and have found about Shirdi Sai Baba born again and have embraced this fact whole heartedly. Why would one not want to go and visit Baba, experience bliss in His presence, soak in his warm aura.
Darshan has a great spiritual significance and i am sure each one of you would love to bath in love, in compassion, in kindness and in energy pool which can heal you, which can rejuvenate you and which can lift you spiritually. Would you not? We need to see things for ourself, we need to experience things first hand. If you are still wondering about whom, i am talking, then let me tell you that i am talking about Sathya Sai Baba. Some people will stop reading after this, some will read with even more skepticism while others will be enthusiastic to read more.
But I sincerely believe that you would know and realise that Shirdi Sai baba and Sathya Sai Baba are the same chapter of a book. They are continuation of a process. They are not different. Sathya Sai Baba or Shirdi Sai Baba does not need us, we need Him so that we can understand more about our own self, so that we get the needed guidance and help in our own soul journey.
Think about it, think sincerely. I know many people would never agree to what i write, but there are some who are developed and need a little more assurance, little more information and with some faith they will certainly be able to take the needed leap. This post is for those people. I am sure you can be one of them, you never know. Sathya Sai Baba after showing ample proofs to people that He is same as Shirdi Sai Baba once said that it is amazing that people who wanted Him to come back are not recognizing him any more. Sathya Sai Baba does not need other devotees, i emphasize, he does not need Shirdi Sai Baba's fame or name, i assert. People who believe in Him and are able to transform their lives are huge in number. There are also many people who visit Him yet miss what Baba preaches.
But for those who wish to progress more, for those who want to be more close to Baba, live His teachings should find that coming to accept Sathya Sai Baba is natural progression. Sathya Sai Baba is nothing but our own Shirdi Sai Baba.
