Haribol and Sai Sai!
This morning I had a dream where I was living in some sort of desert-like country or state. In my dream I was preforming a job for a hardware store, when half way through my workday I felt a need to get away from this materialistic life, and I went off to a nearby mountain of rock that was infamous for housing colonies of sadhus. At the base of this mountain I was greeted by a sadhu (who for some reason or another I didn't realize was Baba until later). My brother (who for one reason or another wished to tag along) came with me into Baba's hut. I began to sing stotras addressed to Shiva and Ganesha from a book Baba had. While I was doing this my brother, was acting rather rude and spitting all over the floor of Baba's hut, and on the stotra book. I yelled at him for this, and he then begain to critcize me for my devotion. Eventually he and Baba got into an argument, and Baba yelled at him to "Get out!". My brother cursed at Baba and left, we both figured he'd calm down and return, but he never reappeared.
After I had this dream, some questions arose-
1. Does anyone know what this dream might mean?
2. I can recall an incident in the Sai Satcharita when Baba scolded one of his Hindu followers for becoming Muslim in order to please local fakir stating "Your religion is a gift from God and it would be an insult to your father to change it". I was born a Christian, but later became a Hindu, will I have to revert to Christianity in order to follow Sai Baba?
3. Was Baba an avatar of God, or just a saint? I've never gotten a clear answer on this.
4. I know Baba followed Advaita Vedanta and Sufi Islam. I don't believe in Monism, so will I have to give up following dualism in order to follow Baba?
Thanks in advance for any answers.
