    06th Feb`2011

    Bollywood Actor Shri.Vivek Oberoi recently visited Shirdi along with newly wedded wife and had darshan of Sai Baba's Samadhi.
    After the darshan, the actor and his wife were felicitated by Deputy Executive Officer of Shirdi Saibaba Sansthan Dr.Yashwantrao Mane.
    This is the first time that Vivek's wife Smt.Priyanka Alva Oberoi has visited Shirdi for Baba's darshan.

    Cricketer V.V.S Laxman who is an ardent devotee of Sai Baba went to Shirdi on Sunday 13th Feb`2011 with his kids.
    He prayed for the success of the Indian Cricket Team in the upcoming World Cup'2011 Series.
    Also present with him was Mumbai Pradesh Congress Committee President and MLA Shri. Kripa Shankar Singh.

    Devotee of Shirdi Sai Baba, Bollywood Actress Preity Zinta visited Shirdi to seek blessings of Sai Baba just before her television debut.
    Smt.Rashree Sasane - wife of Jayant S Sasane honored Preity Zinta with the Sansthan's Dushaala.
    The actress attended Dhoop aarti in Sai Baba's Samadhi Mandir.
    Preity's arrival brought media to the temple premises.
    But the actress tried to make her visit a very private affair and refused to speak to the media.

    AFTER INDIA'S VICTORY IN THE CRICKET WORLD CUP`2011 -
    04th April`2011

    After the Cricket World Cup got over,
    Sai Devotee and the member of the Indian World Cup champion team Suresh Raina on Monday visited the Sai Baba Temple @ Shirdi,
    to pay obeisance to Shri Sai Baba at the Samadhi Mandir.
    Raina arrived in the afternoon in a helicopter that landed near the new Prasadalaya.
    He stayed at the Shrine for nearly an hour and performed the Paduka Puja and Arati of Baba.

    Raina who is a staunch Sai devotee had come before the World cup began.
    He said ”I had prayed that if we do well in the World Cup, I would come to thank and offer prayer at Shirdi.
    So I am here. I am happy that we won and there is such great celebration in the country,”

    As Blessings, Suresh Raina was given a Gold Coin with Sai Baba embossed on it, a Coconut, a Shawl
    and a Sai Baba's Statue by the Shirdi Sai Sansthan.
