    On Saturday 09th July`2011,
    Minister for Legislative Affairs of Maharashtra Shri.Harshvardhan Patil visited Shirdi and had darshan of Sai Baba.
    After the darshan he was felicitated by the Trustee of Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust, Shri.Ashok Khambekar.

    26th July`2011

    Union Minister for Tourism Mr.Subodh Kant Sahay visited Shirdi to offer prayers and seek Baba's Blessings.
    The Trustees then took him around the Samadhi mandir complex to have a look on the arrangements made by sansthan for the devotees.
    He was later facilitated with an Idol of Shri Sai Baba.

    • - UNION RAILWAY MINISTER FOR STATE VISITS SHIRDI -
    16th Sept`2011

    On Thursday 15th Sept`2011, K.H Muniyappa, the Union State Minister for Railways visited Shirdi to offer his prayers and
    seek Baba's Blessings. Assuring more Rail links from across the country to Shirdi, the minister also informed about
    the Electrification of Rail-lines between Manmad & Shirdi while hinting towards providing more facilities at Shirdi railway station.

    Accompanied by Bhausaheb Wakchaure, Muniyappa spent an hour and half in the Sansthan.
    He was apprised about the ongoing public welfare and devotees related projects taken up by Sansthan and was later
    facilitated with a Idol of Sai Baba, a Shawl and prasad of Shri Sai Baba.

    On Monday 10th Oct`2011, Miss India International 2011 Ankita Shorey visited the Sai Baba temple in Shirdi.
    After she offered prayers she was  felicitated by the trustee of Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi).
    Ankita Shorey who was accompanied by her Mother and Sister gave the entire credit of her winning
    the Miss World Title to Sai Baba in whom she has immense Faith.
    She said that she has been visiting Shirdi since many years
    and had prayed to Baba that she won the Miss India Title which eventually she did.
    So thanking Baba she said that if Baba willed then the next time when she came to Shirdi,
    it would be with the Miss World Crown !

    On Monday 10th Oct`2011,
    Chief Minister of  Maharashtra Mr.Prithviraj Chavan visited Shirdi to offer prayers and seek Blessings.
    During his visit, he was accompanied by the PWD Minister Chhagan Bhujbal,
    Revenue Minister Balasaheb Thorat, Industry Minister Narayan Rane,
    Public Transport Minister for State Gulabrao Deokar and minister of State for home Satej Patil.
    For his visit, the whole Shirdi Sai Baba Temple complex was vacated for security reasons
    while the normal devotees were kept waiting.

    Accompanied by the Executive President of United Helicharter and the Deputy Director of Aviation,
    he flew to Shirdi on the newly inaugurated United Helicharters Helicopter.
