It is situated on the bank of Godavari river. It is 40 km from Manmad railway junction.
The famous temple of Sai Baba at Shirdi is 14 km from here.
This is the place where Sai Baba first came, meditated and stayed before moving to Shirdi.
This temple is very near to the Kopargaon Railway Station, on the main highway to Shirdi.
It is called Shri Saibaba Tapobhumi Mandir as it is said that Baba spent lot of time in doing Meditation or Tapasya here.
