Maha-Shivaratri was celebrated on Thursday 27th Feb`2014 with lot of gaiety @ Shirdi.
Thousands of devotees gathered at Shirdi to have Sai Baba's Darshan,
whom they regard as an incarnation of Lord Shiva.

On this special occasion, the Shirdi Sai Baba Sansthan offered free Sabudana Khichadi prasad
to all devotees at the 'Shri Sai Prasadalaya'. This Sabudana Khichadi was made using
7000 Kg Sabudana (Pearl Tapioca), 3000 Kg Peanuts & & 1000 Kg Ghee (Clarified Butter).
It was specially made keeping in mind the Fast devotees observe on this day
and was made to feed around 70,000 devotees including the Temple/Prasadalaya staff.
