Video/Photos: Shri Datta Jayanti Celebrations`2012 @ Shirdi

On 27th December`2012, thousands of devotees from across the country converged at Shirdi,
to pay obeisance at Sai Baba’s Samadhi Mandir and Dattatreya Mandir on the eve of Shri Datta Jayanti.
Devotees had started arriving the temple premises during wee hours of the morning for the celebrations.
There was no VIP Darshan on this day while the huge rush of devotees had filled in all the hotels/lodges.

The celebrations was inaugurated by the pushing of the swing of Lord Dattatreya in the Samadhi Shrine.
Then, in the morning there was a Rudrabhishek Pujan of Lord Datta @ the Dattatreya Temple in Lendi Bagh.
Later from 04:00 pm to 06:00 pm there was a special Datta Jayanti Kirtan program opposite Baba’s Samadhi Temple,
followed by Baba's Dhup Arati and finally Dattatreya's Charan Paduka Poojan & Abhishek at Lendi Bagh.

On this occasion Baba’s Samadhi Temple was decorated with flowers from the donation received from a Sai Devotee from Delhi.
There were long queues of devotees @ Gurusthan, Dwarkamayi and Lendi Bagh which is adjacent to the Datta temple.
