- Shirdi to Sapnawat` U.P -- Annual Shri Sai Sadbhavna Padyatra Held -Dainik Bhaskar
Friday, 12th March`2010Madhya Pradesh - Khandwa - Ashapur : A "Shri Sai Sadbhavna Padyatra", organized by the "Shirdi Sai Darbar" Sapnawat, Ghaziabad was
taken out on a 1800 kilometers stretch, right from Shirdi to Sapnawat in Uttar Pradesh.
It reached Ashapur (M.P) on Wednesday night at 09:00pm.
This Sai Padyatra carried the "Dhuni Mai" and "Akhand Jyot" on a well-equipped Palanquin,
while a Chariot carried "Shirdi Sai Baba's Statue" and "Charan Padukas".
The Villagers in Ashapur welcomed this Sadbhavna Yatra by worshiping and doing Puja of Baba's Paduka's after which they had the Prasad.
Thereafter, the villager's offered dinner to more than 300 Sai Padyatri's at the Mataji's Temple, before bidding farewell to them.
The Sai Sadbhavna Padyatri's was also given a very warm welcome by devotee's in Amalpura, Khedi and Rajur and Jogibeda.
In total the "Shirdi Sai Darbar" Sapnawat, has planned Nine Padyatras.
And the Ninth one, to be held in 2011, would be almost 5000 kms -
beginning from Kanyakumari to Shirdi, then Shirdi to Sapnawat`U.P and finally from Sapnawat to Jammu & Kashmir.
