Rs.40 lakh donated to the Shirdi Sansthan Trust

On 29th November 2013, a Chennai-based woman donated Rs.40 lakh to the Shirdi Sansthan Trust
to fulfill the last wish of her late mother-in-law who passed away recently.
Her mother-in-law had desired that after her, all the property in her name,
should be sold and the amount received should be donated to the Shirdi Sai Baba Sansthan.

So, following her last wish, her descendants sold her property for Rs.40 lakh
and donated the same to the Sai Baba Sansthan`Shirdi.



However, instead of offering Gold/Silver Ornaments for Baba,
guided by Shri.K. V. Ramani of Chennai they donated Rs.40 lakh as:

1) A Ventilator worth Rs.14 lakh to the 'Shri Saibaba Super Specialty Hospital'

2) Rs.4 lakh for the 'Abhishek Fund' - For the daily Abhishek Pooja of Baba's Statue
by the Sansthan on behalf of Sai devotees or collective Abhishek Pooja's done in the Abhishek Hall by devotees.

3) Rs.4 lakh for the 'Naivedya Fund' - For the daily offering of Naivedya to Sai Baba in the temple.

4) Rs.4 lakh for the 'Kothi ( Dhoop-Deep ) Fund' - For pooja material for the daily Pooja performed
in Samadhi Temple, Dwarkamai, Gurusthan & Chawadi.

5) Rs.4 lakh for the 'Festival Fund' - For yearly expenditure on Ramnavami,
Gurupurnima and Baba's Punyatithi celebrations in Shirdi every year.

6) Rs.4 lakh for the 'Shri Sai Satyvrat (Satyanarayan) Fund' - For Baba's daily Sai Satyvrat pooja.

7) Rs.6 lakh for two days of Free Meals for all @ the Shri Sai Prasadalaya`Shirdi.

Later, the donor family was felicitated by the Shirdi Sansthan.
