Virus on internet- emails

Dear Bandhus,

As you already must be aware we should not open email attachments from unknown sources but nowadays there is a new virus going around, you get emails from friends and relatives with attachments. Without thinking twice you open the such attachments since they are from your known people and then your account also starts sending out such emails which you are not aware of. I am not sure what virus gets downloaded and its impacts.

Often the text itself will come in the email that no virus found in attachment when you have not even started to download. So pls be careful. I have recd several such emails from my own brothers account.

Sometime I too receive such mails from me to me but I am told that these are self generated mails due to virus.  If you see closely these mails, their format is somewhat different than the usual emails.  Still it is better to be cautious and one must see closely before opening any mails from even known sources.
