"So lets say you have some bad karmas.

Now you do not want to do the good deeds required to overcome these bad karmas.

You do not want to express genuine repentance for any of the wrong acts committed knowingly.

So, ideally, in what manner would you want to he helped so that you can overcome all your bad karmas, past or present?"

What triggered the discussion is this statement:

its based only on the miracles happened in any ones life.people who faced this will write a to them and they will make it the serial.baba ke icha ke bina kuch bhi nahin hota.and also it is from shirdi sai santhan itself
star plus serial is is played what is written in sai charitra.

I questioned that statement (sentence) and the discussion prolonged.

Even i have been through the same predicament for some time and have been searching for answers too ... and hence my interest in this discussion. Because i want to learn from all of you - ganesh ji, saib ji, yourself and all the other devotees about their thoughts on this subject.

Now in consideration to your above post,

Do you think that is why the great beings have proposed the philosophy of adwaita i.e non-duality ?

i.e when they mean that Atman and Paramatman are one and the same.

So basically my soul, my Atma, my inner conscience is nothing but Paramatma or Baba himself?

So when we follow whatever our inner conscience says, in essence we are only following what the Paramatma or Baba is telling us to do?

So when we say that "Baba ke ichha ke bina kuch nahin hota" ... what we are saying is that we should follow what ever our Atma asks us to do ... kyonki jo Atma ki ichha hai, wahi Paramatma (Baba) ki ichha hai ?

Can we reach a state where we can clearly hear the voice of our inner conscience which is nothing but the voice of Baba Himself?

I ll try to answer you question to the best of my knowledge. If you have time go through this

Chapter 14. The God-Man and Tradition - Sai Baba the Master by Acharya Ekkirala Bharadwaja - This discussion between Sai Baba and Nana Saheb on Tatvidh Pranipatein ....

I am personally not too much into philosophies of advaita, dwaita, vishita advaita etc since Baba works on all three levels simultaneously. Also Baba's method is to bring about a holistic change in a person rather than just mere philosophical talk.

However atma and parmatma are same. Atma feels different from Parmatma based on ignorance. Draw two circles with a chalk piece on a blackboard. Call them circle A and B. A and B are different. However both of them are on the black board. The black board is the Parmatma, the circles A and B are jivatmas. Similarly although Sun is one, one can see its reflections on any cup filled with water.

However when you talk about inner conscience, its a different thing. Most of us really dont know how to listen to inner conscience! Usually what we do is based on our samskaras (which is not the inner conscience). That is why Baba was very explicit. Although He said that their is the requirement of a Guru for everybody, for some (Balbhate) His own inner voice can be the Guru. However since most of us are not in a position to listen clearly ... rather listen at all to the inner voice - its not a general prescription. !

Your intention is very good, as per SHREE SAI BABA no need to go anywhere to look for SHREE SAI BABA and below paragraph is from SHREE SAI SATCHARITRA where SHREE SAI BABA tells how to get him.

"Meditate always on My formless nature, which is knowledge incarnate, consciousness and bliss. If you cannot do this, meditate on My Form from top to toe as you see here night and day. As you go on doing this, your Vrittis will concentrate on one point and the distinction between the Dhyata (meditator), Dhyana (act of meditation), Dhyeya (this meditated upon) will be lost and the meditator will be one with the Consciousness and be merged in the Brahman. The (mother) tortoise is on one bank of the river, and her young ones are on the other side. She gives neither milk, nor warmth to them. Her mere glance gives them nutrition. The young ones do nothing, but remember (meditate upon) their mother. The tortoise glance is, to the young ones, a down-pour of nectar, the only source of sustenance and happiness. Similar is the relation, between the Guru and disciples."

wat is the most effective way to get sri sai blessing and talk to babaji...?? i cant go to the temple or shirdi as parents wont allow.. i cant go outside to feed a black dog or give alms.. as they would find all this weird..!!!

I agree with your comments, I too feel the same thing as you said while watching that serial on TV.

I highly appreciate when you said your opinion as humble opinion, but I will say it is the right Opinion. it is better to avoid such serial in order to avoid false projection in mind. I think this serial is made by same person who showed Sita mata entering in the dept of dharthi mata in darbar of SHREE RAM, where as I had read that it took place in battlefield.

May be this is highly personal, but Baba as shown on TV, is NOT the Baba we read about in book like Sai Satcharitra, Sai Baba The Master, Sai Leelamruthamu. In my humble opinion it is better to avoid such serials than to spoil our "image" of Baba that is formed my His miracles and books on Him.

Very true. Not only is there the chance of Baba's life being portrayed wrongly, there are other problems too. The form of Baba is extremely important for meditation. Sticking to original photographs of Baba is the best way. Seeing such serials makes one think more about the actor rather than Baba.

It is said that by Mrs. Manager that there was such power in Baba's eyes that one had to drop down one's gaze in front of Him. He could by His very eyes probe into the devotee. Plus in Khaparde's diary we come across the "yogic glances" that Baba used to do (Drishtipata).

Also the portrayal of other characters (devotees of Sai Baba ) is not so well in such serials.

All in all, better to avoid.

Once again, these are my humble personal opinions based on what I have learnt in life so far.

When you ask who is stronger Baba or Karma?

Let me tell you the difference between them SHREE SAI BABA exists from beginning and there is no end of his existence. Karma and Karma phal is result of your action, it exists by your action and modifies by your action.

Praying to SHREE SAI BABA helps to demolish the bad effects generated due to your karma.

I hope Mr. asteriasji my explanation has cleared the difference between SHREE SAI BABA and Karma.

I think I am far behind in discussion as I have started late on this page………
