What you wrote is food for thought
and something very true and apt,
permit me to add a few lines too!
Just as you wrote, friends may come for a reason
Or perhaps for a short period – that is a season,
And some will come to you, and stay on for a lifetime;
Friends for REASON – SEASON – LIFETIME;
But I do know for sure, that tis my good Sai
My Lord, who is the best friend of all times,
From times immemorial, for all lifetime
And He will be our BEST FRIEND till eternity;
But, even the friend who comes for a mere REASON
Or even for a short SEASON,
Is still a friend who came when you were in need,
And this friend was sent by my Sai, indeed
This friend came to you, and did give all his help
Just when you were in dire need of help,
And all along this short time,
My Sai, the best friend for all lifetime
Expected me to ever think well of him
For he came when I did so need him.
May Sai also bless this friend of REASON – SEASON,
Not to forget, my friend of a lifetime,
And of course, may my FRIEND LORD SAI
